The apartment benefits from new superior quality hot/cold air conditioning. The fully furnished lounge/dining room has a double sofa bed, a large pouffe that converts to a single bed, coffee table, dining table and chairs. Television.
The kitchen area has fitted cupboards and worktops, ceramic hob with cooker hood over, refrigerator, kettle, coffee maker and toaster.

The location and environment of apartment is splendid. From the apartment you can see fishermen, boats and a small harbor. You can feel the freshness of the morning, you can smell the sea and breathe fresh air also enjoying impressive sunsets. The Dalmatia region

Dalmatia represents the southern region of Croatia. It is a region situated on the eastern coast of the Adriatic Sea and for generations has been reknowed for its natural beauty. However it has only recently been discovered by visitors from all over Europe. Along the coast the sea breeze complements the mediterranean climate and there are no less than 5 national parks (Paklenica, Kornati, Plitvica Lakes, Krka Waterfalls and Northern Velebit) for visitors to explore. The Plitvice Lakes are situated in the continental region of Lika, only 1,5 h from Vinjerac. The beauty of the virgin nature and the abundance of animal and plant life, were the reasons why the area was designated a national park in 1949 and why UNESCO put Plitvice Lakes on its list of world natural heritage in 1979.

The Paklenica Canyon, located in the vicinity of Vinjerac (8 km), is also protected as a national park. Its two 400 m deep gorges rank among the most impressive erosion formations in Europe. Paklenica is also noted for its flora and fauna.
The Krka River, probably the most wonderful of all the rivers in the Croatian karst, is also a national park The river runs through a canyon, and then as it cuts its way to the sea, it forms lakes, waterfalls and rapids.

Zadar / Vinjerac area

Vinjerac is a picturesque fishing village surrounded by nature parks only a few minutes drive away from the Maslenica highway connection to the Zagreb-Split highway. Edged into the sea and hidden from urbane life, Vinjerac is treasuring the identity of past times. It is an oasis of peace and relaxation, unknown to tourists, promising and giving. The sea is crystal clear in Vinjerac and in the nearby harbour you can see several kinds of fishes.

Zadar has been the capital of Dalmatia for centuries. It was ruined and re-built in numerous attacks and wars which may explain why it needs four patron saints for protection (St. Šimun, St. Kerševan, St. Anastasia and St. Zoilo). Within the very impressive and well kept city walls are a roman forum from the 1st century and the unique 9th century pre-Romanesque church of St. Donat. A permanent exhibition "Gold and silver of Zadar" is hosted within the Benedictine monastery of St. Marija.

How to get there

Flay to Zadar (Zemunik) airport. Aparthotel Tamarix in Vinjerac is 15 km from the airport. There are local taxis available.
If you come by car if you take highway Zagreb -Split the best exit is Maslenica. Vinjerac is 5 km from Maslenica.
