The Island of Malta region
South of Malta is bursting with history and beauty- nearby Kalkara, RINELLA where many of Hollywood films where filmed including Gladiators and Troy.
SmartCity is a technology park currently under development in Kalkara. The plan is to transform the Ricasoli Industrial Estate into a state-of-the-art information technology and media city on the models of Dubai Internet City and Dubai Media City
The climate of Malta is Mediterranean, with hot, dry summers and mild winters. During the summer months (May to September) there is little rain, and about 12 hours of sunshine daily. During the winter months it is mild with an average 5-6 hours of sunshine per day, meaning it is great to visit all year round.
A trip to Malta allows you to relax in a warm, friendly and centrally situated Mediterranean island, where the sea is crystal clear and the climate mild all the year round.
The island is small meaning it is easy to get around. Malta has something for everyone. From old historic cities with fascinating museums and medieval palaces to young and vibrant coastal towns where you can simply relax and soak up the sun or enjoy a variety of water sports, fishing and diving.
Malta is perhaps best known for its world heritage sites, most prominently the megalithic temples which are the oldest free-standing structures on Earth.
Valletta and Sliema are full of brand name shops where one can find anything that the heart desires. Open air markets in Malta are very popular. There is an open market practically every day. It is impossible to mention everything this gem of an Island has to offer; the Maltese people are renowned for their hospitality and friendship and are only too pleased to help if you require any assistance.
The Casino di Venezia is situated in Birgu, just been refurbished and now welcomes big yachts from around the world in it's newly done Marina.
Marsaxlokk (fishing village)- local market and famous for it's fresh fish
Villages, such as Valletta, Mdina, Rabat and the Three Cities hold cultural gems and sites only found on the Maltese Islands.

"The perfect place to live Malta as a proper inhabitant, just in front of the sea!"
The apartment is beautiful, new, clean, very well furnished and with a small welcome package as a cherry on your pie. The promenade outside the door is so relaxing: in the evenings you can find the local people enjoying the beautiful view of the sea, far away from the chaos of the Metropolis, tasting the true Maltese life… I fell in love with that place! Xghajra is a small town, but Alison can help you to hire a car and you can go wherever you want for a cheap price: the car is useful even if you are in the centre of the island, and night life is not that far away (20 minutes from Paceville), so if you don't want to spend a lot of money, and have a great place to discover Malta, this is the right choice for you. Thank you Alison!!!
