Guest house | 3 bedrooms | sleeps 6
Go back in time with our fantastic holiday home. We restored this lovely terraced house with respect for all the period features, such as the high seilings decorated with rozes, period wooden floors and doors. We still managed to fit all modern comforts into this holiday let. We decorated our let with a nod to our endless quest for quirky old stuff on carbootsales and in brocante shops.
Our lovely home is located in a quiet street in the historical center of Ypres and is less than 300yds away from the St Martin's Cathedral , the central Market Place ,Flanders Fields and the St.-George's memorialchurch.

Attend a Ceremony or Anniversary Event, take a battlefield tour...
Find a War Grave, if you would like to find out more about tracing the grave or memorial of a person serving with the British and Commonwealth Forces during the First World War you can see our page about the records held by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.
Each year there are ceremonies held on the battlefields, for example, a daily act of Remembrance, a ceremony to commemorate a particular battle action, the dedication of a new memorial, an annual anniversary event or the reburial of the discovered remains of a First World War casualty. Often a local museum will also have a themed exhibition to coincide with a special anniversary. Depending on the event the numbers attending will vary from just a few people to crowds of hundreds of people.
Ypres is located in the rural West-Flanders, you only have to drive about five minutes to find yourself in the idyllic scenery of dewy hills and ancient hoppranks. You have to visit Poperinge, it was a blooming metropol during the Great War, you can still find a lot of reminent of days past...
