Carleton Village has a selection of activities during July & August. There is a heated outdoor children's pool which is situated in the 'Walled Garden'. There is also a Basketball net, 2 championship tennis courts and a children's play area with a slide & climbing frame. A kiddies club operates during the mornings Mon - Fri (extra charge - payable locally). A childminding service is available and can be booked via Reception (extra charges apply.) Each villa has it's own patio/bbq area.
Conditions
With the exception of guide dogs, we do not allow pets in our property. Nor do we allow Hen/Stag Parties

The Youghal area
The historic walled seaport town of Youghal adjoins a fine 5km blue flag beach and, because of the many historic buildings and monuments within its ancient town walls, has been designated as an Irish Heritage Port by the Irish Tourist Board. Fishing in the River Blackwater (noted for salmon, trout and excellent coarse fish), golf, sailing, angling, pitch and putt and yachting are just some of the facilities that are located either nearby or in the town.
