This beautiful converted Victorian hospital has great character, it is also set back from the road and therefore there is no road or street noise, very quiet. The car park is and gated and free. Further details indoors

This is a lovely quiet flat on the second (top) floor of a four storey building. It has a view of York minster and the city centre. As you walk through the door you walk into a light and carpeted hallway, to your left is the new bathroom, straight ahead the downstairs bedroom, to your right a doorway to the kitchen and dining area and then the stairs leading in two directions, one to the mezzanine bedroom and the other to the mezzanine lounge. The apartment is very light as it has two long windows about ten foot long which bring light to both floors. The apartment is very cosy and warm and has all that you would need for your stay. I have lived there myself and have made it very comfortable. The second floor of this building is mainly occupied by business people for second homes or retirement. You will have no noise from the street or noisy neighbors.

"Great Apartment"

I rented this apartment for my son and his girlfriend to stay at. From the outset, it was a pleasure to do business with the owner, Sandra. Prompt response to queries, very helpful and provided clear instructions on payment and travel details/directions.

My son reported that the apartment itself was lovely. Well placed with several supermarkets close by and only a couple of minutes walk into the centre of York. Very comfortable, decorated in a contemporary style and well equipped too, with a great view over the rooftops to the Minster.

I have no hesitation in recommending this apartment. It is superbly placed for a holiday 'on foot' and is comfortable and cosy.

"Good location, not suitable for young children."

Loved the location and Sandra was very helpful but on the whole this did not suit our needs. We have a baby and there was no room that could be shut off due the galleried style design. If in main bedroom then the kitchen is below and if in other one the lounge is above. The rooms were clean and plenty of utensils available, literally 5 mins walk into the thick of it. Would recommend a to a single couple and anyone with older children but not fir very young.

As the saying goes.... you can't please ALL the people All the time....
The bedrooms are in opposite corners of the apartment, when the bedrooms are occupied and the doors closed they are very private from each other.

"Great place,great location"

Recently stayed at this apartment and had a great time. The apartment was excellent. It had everything you could need, was a great size and was central. The secure parking was an excellent bonus. Couldn't fault the place, or the great service from the owner Sandra who was very accommodating. Would have no hesitation in staying in the apartment again.
