Imagine a music-themed luxury apartment fitted out to the highest standards in the Minster Quarter at the very heart of historic York - more like a luxury hotel - but with masses of space, including a living/dining room with 3 large windows overlooking York Minster. Downstairs (with a floor in between, so no noise problems) is cafeconcerto.biz so breakfast, lunch, cake or dinner or just a great cappuccino - are all very handy... there are lots of other restaurants & cafes nearby - along with every other facility you could need (museums, shops, pubs, theatre, banks, etc). No smoking or pets (sorry) and not advised for children under 6 yrs or those with walking difficulties due to stairs and high level windows.

Yorkshire is a beautiful place - Historic Cities, Castles, Stately Homes (such as Castle Howard and Newby Hall) and Abbeys to explore. There are three National Parks to visit including the Yorkshire Dales for wonderful walking, cycling or adventure activities. Beautiful seaside villages such as Whitby (home of Captain Cook) and Staithes fishing village on the East coast are all within an hour of York. The climate for the region is mild with relatively low rainfall for the UK - warm in summer and rarely below freezing in winter. How to get there
Free parking permit for city centre car park included (worth £12.00 per day). Many airlines fly to Leeds and Manchester, but direct trains from London also run every half an hour throughout the day.
York is one of the most accessible cities in the country - approx 2 hours by train from London, Edinburgh and Manchester.. Buses run hourly to Leeds Airport.
Train station in city centre 5 minutes walk to Music House Apartment (taxis also readily available).

Further details outdoors: Beautiful, Grade two-listed townhouse (city centre location, set out over 4 floors next to York Minster). Separate entry to the apartment through Cafe Concerto entrance. Private entrance on first floor. leading to apartment on top 2 floors. Unloading possible outside as pedestrianisation of street is only between 11am and 4pm. Parking Permit can be reserved & collected from Cafe Concerto at any time to suit, on check-in. Car park is approx 4 minutes walk away.
