Garrowby Hill, the so called 'Gateway to the Wolds', is only a minutes drive from the lodges, giving you the perfect footing to go and enjoy the wonders of the area and see where many of his stunning paintings have originated from. You may also enjoy a to visit the Robert Fuller art gallery at Thixendale.

Just out of town there is still plenty to do. There are numerous museums and places to explore within easy reach. Shepherds Hut has been fantastically well thought out, extremely warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean with some lovely finishing touches. Shower and washing facilites first class with washing machine and tumble drier available. Perfect place to rewind as is situated so you arent overlooked. Pretty little village , friendly pub, visitors must check out the the church. Hope to visit again.
