The Shepherd's hut has a small woodburning stove sutible for cooking, TV and DVD, Microwave, small built in fridge. two large under bed storage draws, shoe rack, hanging rail.
Our brand new purpose built utility building houses the brand new washing facilitys. This is about 10 yards from the hut and concists 2 of shower rooms each with there own toilet and sink. An indoor washing up room with washing and drying facilitys.

he Yorkshire Wolds and Vale of York are a great central location, situated just to the east of the country between the south of England and Scotland. We can't promise beautiful sunshine everyday but the east of the country does tend to have a lower rainfall.
To the west of the Wolds you will discover the popular Cities of York and Harrogate.
The beautiful coastline and seaside towns of Bridlington, Scarborough, Whitby and Filey a short drive to the East.
The Shepherd's hut sitswithin easy reach of the recently named, 'Hockney Country'. The surrounding area is where the world famous artist, David Hockney has found much of his inspiration. Garrowby Hill, the so called 'Gateway to the Wolds', is only a minutes drive from the lodges, giving you the perfect footing to go and enjoy the wonders of the area and see where many of his stunning paintings have originated from. You may also enjoy a to visit the Robert Fuller art gallery at Thixendale.
The centre of the historic City of York is only 15 miles, a 30 minutes drive away. Attractions there include, The Jorvik Museum, The National Railway Museum, and even York Dungeons. There is York Minster, Clifford tower both steeped in history or why not walk the city walls.
MUSEUMS AND HISTORIC HOMES
Just out of town there is still plenty to do. There are numerous museums and places to explore within easy reach. There is the Yorkshire Farming Museum and the Yorkshire Air Museum – both only 15 minutes away. Or why not visit one of the fabulous Historic Houses with their surrounding gardens such as Castle Howard, Sledmere House or Burton Agnes, all only a short drive. Burnby Hall gardens in Pocklington is also worth visiting.
If walking is your thing, we are lucky enough to be on the Minster Way and the Chalkland Way, with foot paths on the doorstep that lead to the Wolds Way. Walkers are very welcome. Take a walk and discover the hidden gems of the Yorkshire Wolds, surprising country side, wildlife and a wealth of traditional country pubs.
If you simply like the seaside, there are beautiful beaches that remain unspoilt at the East coast, only 40mins drive away.
City of Hull 30 miles (40 minutes - 1 hour). The interesting city of Hull plays host to museums, great restaurants and of course one of the country's best loved attractions, The Deep www.thedeep.co.uk, the world's only submarium.
STAMFORD BRIDGE is only a few miles away, famous for the Battle of Stamford Bridge in 1066.
