"Fabulous family holiday rental"

"Great flat, great location, but town centres are noisy"

This is one of the best decorated and best equipped flats we've ever stayed in. It's a great mixture of the old (it's a Listed Building, and some floors also list to one side). The room… More

"Ideal location for visiting York"

This was our first visit to York and the Bluebird was ideally and centrally located for our stay. We much prefer this type of accommodation to a hotel and the Bluebird felt like a home away from home… More

We are very glad you enjoyed your stay at The Bluebird, York. Thank you for your comments and we understand that due to the property being in the centre of York there can be noise from the streets at night. To accommodate for this we have good insulation and sound proof secondary double glazing however we do understand not all noise can be filtered out. We hope you come to stay with us again in York, Best Wishes Roxanne.

"An exceptional and unique appartment"

I stayed at "The Bluebird" with my 22 year old daughter for a long weekend break.
On arrival, we were met by the lovely manager who showed us around and explained everything to us re...the apartment. We had requested a basic food pack which was all in place, alongside complementary Cava.
Every room is beautifully and tastefully decorated with very fine fabrics, wallpaper and furniture...unusual in a rental property! This place is more 5 star boutique hotel, with extra rooms. Attention to detail puts it into a league of its own, right down to little things, like luggage stands in the bedrooms and headed notepaper on the writing desk.
Possibly, the biggest Wow factor was "The Round Room Bar", a quirky little extra room, like a private booth in a club....great for a nightcap!
The location of the apartment is exceptional. I've stayed in other places in York quite far away from the centre. Here, everything is on your doorstep. Literally! The Minster, restaurants, shops and tearooms. We loved being able to go back to base throughout the day.
I really couldn't fault this place. My daughter and I had the most wonderful stay and we will definitely be back.
