There is never a shortage of things to see and do in York and there are many events taking place throughout the course of the year, many of which you will stumble across as the street entertainment and festivals are aplenty. We would always recommend you visit the York Tourist Information site to see what is happening during your stay but some of our particular favourite things to do are;
A day at York races - the perfect opportunity to dress up and drink champagne at one of England's most popular race courses.
Picnic in York's Museum Gardens.
Take a River Cruise along the River Ouse.
Rest and have a cup of tea at Bettys Tea Rooms.
Be spooked on the York Ghost Walk.
Take in the peace and tranquillity at the magnificent York Minster.
Go back in time and tackle the Vikings at the Jorvik Viking Centre and Dig.
Take a round or two of Golf at Heyworth Golf Course with Views of the Minster or Fulford Championship Course.
