"The flat was very well located, comfortable and warm - it provided a great base for our stay in York."

Here is some constructive criticism which I hope will improve the holiday experience for future visitors:
The protective floor covering in the kitchen did not sit properly and was a trip hazard.
The draining tray on the sink had a habit of tipping over and we broke some glasses due to this happening - it really needs replacing with a more stable unit.
There was a small amount of mold in the downstairs shower which looked ugly.
The cleaning product used by the cleaners had left a strange smell which was rather unpleasant and lingered for 24 hours. Even the bed linen had absorbed the odour.
I am afraid we could also smell cigarette smoke when we first arrive and being non-smokers we found this uncomfortable.
These small problems aside we couldn't fault the flat and we had a lovely holiday and would be happy to revisit in the future.
