The Loft apartment is a beautifully appointed, bright and modern 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom self catering apartment within the heart York city centre.

Situated in a secure apartment development, the accommodation is calm and peaceful whilst still having the exciting hustle and bustle of the city centre on the doorstep.

The location cannot be beaten, steps away from the Shambles and market, two minutes on foot to The Minster, The Yorvik Viking Centre, Treasurer's House and Stonegate's fabulous shops There are many many restaurants, cafes, bars and public houses all around the apartment...the choice is endless! And yet, with all this around you, you can be certain of peace and quiet in The Loft apartment.

The central location of the apartment means that there is no on site parking but there are lots of city car parks situated around the apartment, all within five or ten minutes walk...we can provide details of these on request.

There are two double bedrooms with plenty of wardrobe/hanging space..the master bedroom is en suite with a shower, heated floor and towel rail for your comfort. The apartment also has two single beds up on the mezzanine area.(Please note that this area is accessed by steep stairs, unsuitable for children under 5 or people who struggle with stairs). The family bathroom is very spacious with a lovely deep tub and over bath shower. Heated floor and towel rail too!

In the apartment you will find a fully loaded kitchen, just in case you fancy a "night-in"...we have tried to think of everything you might need to make your stay comfortable and stress free. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns and we will endeavour to help you in any possible.

We do not live on site and so all arrival details should be discussed...we can meet and greet or simply check yourselves in with the help of our handy secure key box located at the property. Whatever we need to do to make your stay a success, we will try our very best.

Note that we do NOT accept hens or stags but groups are accepted, provided you just drop me an enquiry with details about who will be staying and why! Thanks for understanding.

Thanks for taking time to review your stay. Pleased to hear you enjoyed the location. I just feel the need to clarify that the apartment is a spacious two bedroom apartment with an option for extra guests in the mezzanine area. There are four chairs at the dining room table but two more chairs are available in the apartment for our guests to use. We even have a table topper that extends it to easily accommodate six people. Thanks again!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Sharon (the owner) a message.

If Sharon (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
