There is one main, large family bathroom with a whirlpool bath.
There are 2 further shower rooms, one of which can be converted into an ensuite as it is flexible with how it can be divided with doors etc.
There is also a downstairs cloakroom.
The main living areas (dining room and lounge) will accommodate 12 people. In addition to this, there are outside eating areas and a breakfast area to create space and flexibility

There is a beautiful outside Patio area and lawned garden with seating for up to 12 people. It is a sun trap in the summer and is truly a lovely, quiet, safe and secluded garden. It is also perfect for children as it is completely enclosed.
Free parking for 3 cars. There is 1 space in the garage operated by a secure electric garage door (remote provided), plus off street parking (1 space) and a further free space using our resident's parking pass. Extra spaces are available on request.
Duvets, Linen and Towels are provided free of charge. The house and linen etc is thoroughly cleaned for each changeover.
Suitable for elderly if they can manage stairs to the bedroom. Living accommodation downstairs is good for the infirm
Children are welcome - we are very child friendly as we know what travelling with children is like therefore:
High chair, cot, baby linen, baby bath, potty, children's cutlery, beakers, bowls, plates and changing mat are available free of charge.
An extra cot, moses basket and high chair could be made available for extra children. We have a steriliser too if need be, just let us know beforehand because some items are stored away until needed
Some DVDs, games, a selection of toys, magazines and books are provided
Complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits and fresh milk are provided so you can have a cuppa after your long journey! Pepper, salt, oil, washing up liquid, hand soap, a new dishcloth & scourer, tea towel and a few dish washer tablets are also provided.
Bathroom scales are also on site for weighing suitcases or the after affect of a trip to Betty's Tearooms!!
Northern England region
York is a beautiful city in its own right, yet, is also a fantastic location to access the Yorkshire Coast, the Dales and cities for shopping e.g. Leeds and Harrogate. There are a wealth of fabulous beauty spots and places of interest both within York and within a short drive.
Local places of interest are Castle Howard, Beningborough Hall and Harewood House - fine stately homes. Pickering with it's steam railway, historic Knaresborough with Mother Shipton's Cave, Helmsley, a quaint town with its own castle and 2 grand Abbeys close by.
The Yorkshire Coast is approximately 1hr away with Whitby, Scarborough, Robin Hoods Bay, Flamborough Head, Filey and Bridlington as places with natural beauty, history and wild life. Lightwater Valley and Flamingoland are two popular theme parks approx 1hr away by car or bus.
York is an all year round place to visit. It is a haven of tourist attractions suitable for adults and children alike many of which are under cover making it an ideal family holiday what ever the British weather throws at us!
York is known as a 'City of Festivals', the list is endless (google 'York Festivals' for more details). Examples include Festivals for Food and Drink, Science, Vikings, Dance, Ebor (racing) and various Christmas festivals
Attractions include : The Minster, numerous Museums (including The National Railway Museum and Castle Museums), Jorvik Centre, York Dungeon, York Ghost Tours, Horse and Cart Rides, Tour Buses and the historic city walls.
If you like shopping then York has a varied selection of designer shops and boutiques. Regular themed markets are held in the square and then at night York comes into it's own with more tourist events, bars, night clubs and eating places to suit every style and pocket
