"LOvely cosy apartment"
Settling in and getting keys was effortless. Met by friend of the owner. Apartment was lovely - just right for a couple and very convenient for York. Brilliant view from balcony. Everything that we needed for our stay was there including a super fast Wi-Fi. Minor downside was that I couldn't park underneath due to high river. Had a 30 minute wait to get into very busy nearby NCP car park. But once in I left the car there for the dyration.

"The best in York!"
24 Woodsmill Quay is a cute one bedroom apartment in the converted old mill along the riverside in central York. It is a five to fifteen minute walk to everything in town. The apartment is well furnished, including very comfy queen+ size bed. It has period accent details and is perfect for a couple. It is also very quiet. It has an elevator, but it's only a short flight of stairs up one level. It's also an easy walk, or a five-pound or less cab ride, from the train station, too. Even my wife, who walks with a cane, made the walk to the train several times with no problem. The apartment has has all the cooking stuff you'll need, and there is a Tesco store just across the river. It looked like a Sainsbury's Express store was about to open a block away on Mickelgate. There are plenty of restaurants within a ten minute walk. We had our best meal at Bella Italia on Low Petergate (downtown). We had tea at Betty's, an icon, but liked tea at the Earl Gray Tea Rooms best. The apartment owner was very good at communicating and setting up the rental and payment via e-mail. We've stayed at several places in York over the years, and 24 Woodsmill Quay is the best!

"Stylish Riverside Apartment in the heart of York"
A Beautiful apartment set alongside the River Ouse in York. Lovely furnishings, clean, stylish, caters for your every need and a wonderful comfy bed too! We've stayed here many times and recommended it to others also. A short 2 minute walk over the Ouse bridge and you are right in the heart of York. The owners are always so welcoming and the provisions are a lovely touch. Highly recommended.

"First class central riverside apartment in York"
We can recommend this property without reservation. The keynote to what is provided is generosity, in small details like filled cruets to quality bed linen on a generously-sized bed and healthy plants on the dinky balcony. Its great strengths are the central and attractive location, the welcoming comfort of the accommodation, and the evident care and attention to detail by the owners. It was particularly helpful to have a locked garage which left us free from worry concerning our vehicle. We have stayed in a variety of locations in the UK in recent year and this definitely rates as one of the very best. Also York has a variety and depth of attractions that it would be hard to equal in a city of its size.
