About this location
The Isle of Wight region
The Isle of Wight is a beautiful island steeped in history, from Prehistoric to Roman times and onwards. Osborne House in East Cowes was the favourite home of Queen Victoria.
The beaches are stunning, and we often get lovely weather because we have a micro climate! There is so much to do and see ,for all ages. Children are well catered for on the Island, when they are not enjoying the sea and the beach. There are a variety of water sports available, and cycling and walking are enjoyed by many.
The chalet is about a ten minute walk to the beach, with stunning views over Sandown Bay and towards Whitecliff and Culver Down. Sandown Zoo, featured on ITV's Tiger Island, is close to the chalet, as is Dinosaur Isle, a dinosaur museum. You can have a dinosaur walk on the beach nearby.
The town has numerous restaurants, cafes and pubs to suit all tastes. There are shops and supermarkets and banks close by.

"we will be back"
We have stayed on holiday in the Isle Of wight for many times as we have family that live on the island, So have stayed in a lot of places hotels, villas ,caravans, tents..But this is one of the best places we have stayed in the chalet was clean and tidy and we liked the touches of milk in the fridge .The walk to the beach is little stepe and was muddy as the the island had had a lot of rain in the night. we had places to go waslesing water.osais the donkey sancuary and a walk along the sea front. and cubbies for fish and chip that is the children favourite place to go and of corse the slot machines we did play crazy golf indoor and outdoors in shanklin and sandown the chalet was handy to go fosseling as we had booked this before we went at yaverland beach. the park was not to far to walk to for the children. The chalet was warm in next to know time with the heater on the £1 in the slot elecricity lasted quite a while .we did cook meals on the cooker and it did a good job. just needed 2 more pillows for the sofa bed as we slept 6 .It was also nice to have a bath as the children do not like shower.
