About this location

The Isle of Wight region

The Isle of Wight is a beautiful island steeped in history, from Prehistoric to Roman times and onwards. Osborne House in East Cowes was the favourite home of Queen Victoria.

The beaches are stunning, and we often get lovely weather because we have a micro climate! There is so much to do and see ,for all ages. Children are well catered for on the Island, when they are not enjoying the sea and the beach. There are a variety of water sports available, and cycling and walking are enjoyed by many.

The chalet is about a ten minute walk to the beach, with stunning views over Sandown Bay and towards Whitecliff and Culver Down. Sandown Zoo, featured on ITV's Tiger Island, is close to the chalet, as is Dinosaur Isle, a dinosaur museum. You can have a dinosaur walk on the beach nearby.

The town has numerous restaurants, cafes and pubs to suit all tastes. There are shops and supermarkets and banks close by.

Such a beautiful chalet with lots of space. Excellent location for children as they could just play out on the green. Lovely decor and a well equipped kitchen. Cannot find any faults at all, will hope to come back again next year..

"Great little chalet with breathtaking views a few footsteps away."

We had a great time at sea whispers and when we entering the park it was bucketing down , so we were sad, but on entering sea whispers ... With its bright white walls and fresh decor and cleanliness. … More

"Home from Home"

Very clean , comfortable and very well equipped. Lovely to be met by the owners and to have their contact phone number in case of any problems ( there weren't any!) The welcome pack was the best we ever had any where.

As O.A.P's the only difficulty was the settee was very low and we found it difficult to get out of. Fortunately there were lots of cushions so we used these to boost the height. My husband did miss a two pin socket to charge his razor and toothbrush.

"Best holiday ever - Accommodation was fantastic"

I have never stopped in accommodation where you are given tea, coffee, biscuits, sugar, milk, juice and wine in the welcome pack. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and extremely comfy. We would definitely recommend this to everyone. There is a tv and dvd in both the living room and the bedroom.

It is a ten minute walk down the cliff to Sandown and the ideal base to explore the area. There is a grass area in front of the chalet where the kids can play and a decking area to relax and keep an eye on them.
