About the home

Isaac's lodge is one of the five luxurious eco lodges, which makes Tom's Eco Lodge. Each nestled way in the glorious surroundings of Tapnell Farm on the Isle of Wight.

The perfect location for an adventurous or relaxing family holiday, group get together, party or romantic hideaway. The Island is easily accessible from England and boasts the most sun in the uk!

This historic site has panoramic sea views north and south. The farm was also the setting for the legendary and original Isle of Wight Festival 1970, think Jimi, The Doors, Joni, The Who...

So, the unique eco lodges, Tapnell farm and the Isle of Wight create a new holiday experience with that extra special feel.

Yarmouth is the closest ferry terminal to us approximately 8 minutes drive from Tapnell

Directions from Lymington -Yarmouth Ferry (approx. 10 min)

Once at Yarmouth come out of terminal and take a left out of the roundabout signed towards Newport , Ryde B3045. Continue along this road out of Yarmouth for a mile. Take the next right signed to Ventnor A3055 (Thorley Rd). Continue on this windy road for approx. 5 miles. At the T junction Turn left towards Brighstone. You are now on the Newport road. Drive for approx. 2 miles, once down the hill you'll see a set of white cottages after these turn left to Tapnell Farm. Continue up the drive until the road folks right. Take the right folk and arrive one minute later at Tapnell Farm.

Directions from Fishbourne

Fishbourne is appox 25 mins drive from Tapnell

Come out of the ferry terminal and turn right.
At the trafffic lights turn right on to A3054 heading to Newport.
Go all the way to Newport (approx 4 miles).
When heading into the Newport roundabout get into the lane to the town centre.Take the 3rd Exit of the roundabout, pass cinema complex on left
Go across the bridge, pass Morissisons on your left, continue on passing New Look H &M etc
Veer round to the right passing McDonalds then take 1st left to Carisbrooke.
Continue on towards Carisbroke.
Stay on that road going straight out of Carisbrooke up and onto the Calbourne road. (passing Waverley pub on left)
Stay on this road and keep going along the windy roads for approx 8 miles.
Pass Calbourne Cross, Calbourne Mill with approx 4 miles to go.
Keep on the road B3399 towards Freshwater
Pass the Ventnor, Brighstone turning on left, keep going for 1 mile
Tapnell drive has a a couple of houses on each side at the bottom, turn right go up the bumpy hill until you can go no further.
Head up to the farm for parking to access the safari tents
