The Isle of Wight is a great place to visit. Just over two hours from London by train or driving. The Isle of Wight has hundreds of tourist attractions to suit all ages.
Yarmouth is a beautiful and quaint small harbour town, with lovely shops and many places to eat and drink.
The West Wight is ideal for sailors, golfers, nature lovers, artists, walkers with breathtaking views of the downs and the Coast. Freshwater golf club is just a 20 minute walk away with stunning views over the English Channel.
This is a destination for any time of year. The Wightlink ferry from Lymington to Yarmouth takes 45minutes.
The Yarmouth, Isle of Wight area
Lovely harbour town, with shops and a very good selection of pubs and eating places.
Ideal for sailors, and with Yacht moorings just 100 yards offshore from the properties of River Cottage and the Boathouse. Grab a harbour taxi and they will take you directly to the door of the properites!
Just 20 minutes walk or 10 minutes drive away is Freshwater Golf club, and the Sailing centre of Cowes is 15 minutes drive away.
