Fabulous modern, bright and airy 2 bedroom apartment with stunning view of Yalikavak Marina. Furnished to a high standard throughout. What makes it special are the magnificent views over Yalikavak bay and the Marina in one direction and the hillside view in another. Close to the 'fish restaurant village' area of Yalikavak. Wi-fi available. Shared pool.

ROOMS WITH VIEWS - The open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area has a sofa (which can be used as a double bed to sleep one or two extra people), comfy seating, wall cabinets, TV etc. From the lounge, large patio doors open onto the terrace with its magnificent views. This is the perfect place to sit and enjoy a sundowner whilst watching the ever changing sunsets over the Aegean. The views really are stunning looking out to sea and across Yalikavak .A table and chairs, plus sun loungers are here for guest use.

At the far end of the lounge is the kitchen which is modern and well equipped for holiday or long term living and fitted with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer etc.The master double bedroom has an en-suite shower room and the twin bedroom has an adjoining shower room. The apartment is decorated throughout with light wood furniture and has tiled flooring, this completes the light and airy feel. There are air conditioning units fitted in all rooms. A few minutes walk down hill are Yalikavak's famous fish restaurant, which is a 'village' itself offering a variety of restaurants nestled by the water serving fresh fish, as you would expect!.

Wi-fi is provided by mobile modem device. This has a 3G Wi-Fi modem which is topped up with credit when required. When credit runs out the connection slows and guests are required to contact the local property manager and she will top up the device. Feedback from guests is that the 3G gives good and fast connectivity, even during the busy period in July and August. This is not a suitable connection for streaming films, TV, downloading photos and data etc because it uses full months allowance in a day or two. However, this wi-fi device is perfect for keeping in touch via emails, browsing the internet, internet banking, Skype etc.

Dear Marianne, really pleased you found the apartment beautiful and the views amazing, which they are indeed. Views like these often mean you are on a hill and the adverts for this apartment do state 'car advisable', even though the apartment itself is walkable into the centre of Yalikavak itself in 20 mins or so. Also, it is a short walk to the fish restaurant 'village' area of the town. There are plenty of apartments for rent right in the centre of Yalikavak, but many are not presented as well as Marina View neither do they have the view as they are on the flat. Yalikavak can be breezy at times because it is on a Peninsula, not land locked and sheltered as Kalkan is. During high season, the breeze is often welcomed, it is also a few degrees cooler than Kalkan in the Bodrum Peninsula, which again is welcomed in July and August. We know Kalkan well, Yalikavak too, many guests who rent from us are those who 'migrate' from Kalkan and become repeat guests. Yalikavak has a very mixed clientele, not so many British as Kalkan has and, it still retains its traditional Turkish charm. It appears from your compliments, you liked the property and views, but Yalikavak as as location compared to Kalkan, is not for you. It is good to experience different locations and that is what you did. Hope you enjoy the rest of summer

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
