La Finca is a spacious, secluded rural rustic property with its own private pool and gardens which can comfortably accommodate up to 14 people. Ideal for families or groups of friends, the beautifully renovated and quirky property provides the ideal peaceful, private retreat combining elegance, tranquillity and modern living with rustic charm.
If outdoor living is what you desire, it doesn't get much better than this, with well maintained gardens, spectacular uninterrupted views over the volcanic Timanfaya National Park and natural coastline and incredible sunsets to enjoy. The very large garden offers a deep blue pool surrounded by sunny terraces with daybeds, hammocks and dining areas, and is your own completely private oasis. While offering a unique location and unrivalled views, La Finca remains conveniently situated being just outside the charming village of Yaiza with its sprinkling of shops, restaurants and bars, and only 15 minutes to the prestigious resort of Playa Blanca.
In addition to the wonderful holiday in the sun, La Finca is also ideal for specialist holidays.Cyclists are welcome. La Finca is ideally situated for access to Timanfaya National Park and the winelands of La Geria.
Artists will find La Finca very suited to there needs. It offers spectacular views in every direction and benefits from the unique light of Lanzarote.Wind and kite-surfers can take advantage of the conditions at Famara which are well suited to these sports - 25 minute drive.Paragliders can often be seen off the nearby mountain behind Macher - 15 minute drive.The peace and tranquility of La Finca is very conducive to yoga and meditation.

MAIN HOUSE
There are a number of patios (both at the back and front of the house) to take advantage of the spectacular views. They offer a private space to swim, sun bathe, BBQ, eat and relax. The pool is solar heated and has a shallow area (1.4m x 1.4m) ideal for small children (supervision required). The extensive gardens are laid out to beds.
The outside furniture is as follows -
BBQ, 10 seater teak table and chairs, 10 loungers, teak daybed, teak hammock seat, 2 teak armchairs and small table (master bed patio), metal table and chairs (front patio), drier for hanging out clothes.
APARTMENT
Private, enclosed patio area, table and benches for outdoor eating, 2 sun loungers.

- Beach towel hire - with airline weight restrictions getting tighter, why not hire beach towels and save on bringing your own.

- Should you wish, we can purchase additional items to be waiting for you upon your arrival.
- Cyclists are welcome. La Finca is ideally situated for access to Timanfaya National Park and the winelands of La Geria. Should you wish to hire bikes, or go on an arranged excursion, we can arrange this with a local bike hire company for you. Please ask for further details.

The management company will meet you at the property either on the day of your arrival, or the next day, to ensure everything is satisfactory.
The pool is solar heated
The couple who manage the property live in a studio on the grounds - set well away and below the other accommodation.
The property runs on solar, wind and generator.
There might be some small cosmetic differences from the photos, e.g. cushions, as things wear out and need to be replaced.
Conditions
Please email us or call us (details below) to enquire regarding booking. A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required to confirm all bookings. The balance is payable 6 weeks before the start of the booking. If booking is made within 8 weeks of the start of the booking, payment in full is required to confirm the booking. Always check availability before sending any money.
There is a £20 breakage insurance covering up to £300 in damages.
We do not accept date changes within 3 months of the start of the holiday. For holidays starting after that, we charge £250 to change your dates.
Awards
The Lanzarote region
Situated off the Moroccan coast, Lanzarote enjoys year round sun. With summer temperatures of 27 °C - 35 °C, and winter daytime temperatures of 20 °C - 25 °C, it is perfect for summer and winter holidays. The glorious beaches more than live up to the weather. Add to this the volcanic landscape, Moroccan style architecture and good food, and you have a pretty perfect holiday destination.
Chief attraction is the volcanic "Timanfaya National Park". La Finca has stunning views overlooking the park and across to the sea.
Close by are the winelands of La Geria. A drive through the area is well worth it, with the unusual way the locals grow their grapes altering the landscape quite beautifully. The wine is worth exploring as well.
Further attractions on the Island include: Jameos Del Agua, Mirador Del Rio, El Golfo's Green Lagoon, Rancho Texas, Guinate's Tropical Park, Las Salinas, the golf courses at Costa Teguise and Tias

The Yaiza area
Yaiza, voted one of the most picturesque villages in the Canaries, retains all it's rural charm with the central square and historic church. With good restaurants, banks and a supermarket, you don't have to travel far for all amenities. It is perfectly situated to give the combination of rural tranquility and easy access to beaches and resorts.
Close by is Playa Blanca (15 mins), a tranquil resort with beautiful safe beaches and picturesque restaurant-lined promenade. The new yacht basin has been tastefully built and offers sophisticated dining and shopping.
The famous unspoilt beaches of Papagayo Natural Park (20 mins) lie just outside Playa Blanca.
For those wanting to explore, the island of Fuerteventura, is a mere 11km (20 mins) by ferry from Playa Banca.
El Golfo (10 mins) is for those looking for good food right on the water's edge in a village that has retained all its quiet charm.
The new golf course at Tias is only 20 mins away.
