We want your holiday to be a good experience so we have equipped our apartment with the things that will make it a home from home for you, including FREE WIFI and a selection of books and DVD's for your use.
There is a nice comfortable terrace where you may choose to eat, with views of the dramatic valley and the bay
We also supply a small complimentary welcome pack for your arrival, including bottled water, enough coffee, tea and sugar to tide you over, plus milk, bread, spread or butter and either cake or biscuits.
(We are also happy to get a small amount of other provisions for you on request for which you can reimburse us on arrival)
You may want to hire a car to explore the island but if not, there is a bus stop a few metres from the apartment and its only a 10 minute journey to the capital city Victoria where you can visit the Citadell as well as St Mary's Cathedral located in the heart of the city. From Victoria, also known as Rabat by the locals, you can catch a bus to visit any village in Gozo.
In the village of Xaghra there are the Ggantija temples, thought to be the oldest free standing temples in the world, also Calypso's Cave. Or Dwejra to see the famous Azzure window . There are so many great places to visit and since the new bus system was introduced in July 2011, the bus service to and from Xlendi now runs later into the night.
In Xlendi itself there is a small sandy beach that is good for all, and because of the reef formations, is ideal for snorkeling. So, for the more adventurous, you can swim and snorkel off the rocks alongside the beach. There is also a well established diving school.
There are many good restaurants and bars for you to discover in Xlendi and in the summer months there is a popular open-air venue called 'La Grotta', situated in an open cave approximately half a mile away on the hillside leading out of Xlendi. It is ideally positioned within walking distance but far enough away that you will not be disturbed by the music if you prefer a quieter evening.

For your holiday in Gozo, you would need to transfer from Luqa Airport in Malta. You may wish to hire a car and cross on the ferry. It is €15.70 for the car and driver and €4.65 for subsequent adults. Children 3-12 €1.15
Alternatively you might wish to have a transfer.
This can be a split transfer where you would have a taxi to the ferry port at Cirkewwa, Malta, then another taxi from M'Garr Harbour, Gozo, to the apartment but be responsible for your bags on and off the ferry. There is a cart that will carry your bags.
For a stress free start to your holiday you may prefer a full transfer which would be a taxi from Luqa Airport, Malta, to the apartment in Xlendi, Gozo. This is a far more expensive option but it may be what you want. Either way, you would pay your own ferry ticket on returning to Malta. We can give details for these transfers on request.
IN SOME CASES, WE WILL BE ABLE TO DO THE TRANSFER OURSELVES AT A LESSER COST.
THIS IS STRICTLY A NON SMOKING APARTMENT. The apartment is more suited to families or couples.
The Island of Gozo region
The island of Gozo had a population of approx 25,000, the majority of these are farmers and fisherman, Gozo and its inhabitants are very different from Malta. A much quieter way of life and far less developed. It has a much greener countryside with steep valleys with rugged cliffs and stunning bays.
Gozo is wonderful walking country with plenty of well trodden tracks through the more famous of the islands landmarks such as Calypso's Cave or the Azure Window.
The Maltese Islands offer a varied and scenic playground for rock climbers of all levels.
Xlendi is also a centre for diving and there is an established diving school in Xlendi who have been operating since 1989, and offer a wealth of experience and local knowledge, whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced diver. They offer over 50 shore and boat sites with depths from 5m to 45m in Gozo, Comino and north west Malta; and sights from natural rock formations to sunken wrecks and reefs bursting with marine life.
First timers can have a go at a trial dive at the shallow end of a safe bay and experienced divers can join others of similar experience on accompanied dives. Unaccompanied diving is possible for those divers holding the local government dive permit.

"Xlendi - We'll Be Back!"
After reading all the previous reviews of Carol and Graham’s apartment, we had big expectations, however, we weren’t disappointed. In fact from the moment we walked in we felt right at home, and over the next 10 days enjoyed all the comforts of home. The apartment was bigger than we expected, was well laid out and had everything right on hand. Having 2 toilets and 2 showers was a luxury and the use of a washing machine meant no extra baggage fees if you choose to travel with a budget airline!! Xlendi itself is a wonderful place to stay. Being away from the big tourist spots makes you feel a bit special. There are good swimming areas, enjoyable restaurants right on the water and the staff are very friendly. Xlendi has lots of places to explore and even though the buses are extremely efficient (and air conditioned) Victoria is only a 25 minute walk away. The buses are great for seeing all the tourist spots around Gozo, but there is ample space at the apartment for a car if you prefer. Carol and Graham – thank you for everything – your tips on things to see and do, your attention to the smallest detail for our comfort and enjoyment and everything else that made our trip so memorable.
Thank you so much for your glowing review. It is so nice that our efforts are appreciated, to make your holiday in our apartment, as comfortable and trouble free as we possibly can. We would be happy to welcome you back, anytime.

"A holiday apartment with all the comforts of home."
We stayed at Carol and Graham's apartment for two weeks at the beginning of October. Carol met us at the airport with the keys and a very friendly welcome. The apartment was easy to find and was very clean and tidy on our arrival. I can only echo previous reviews in saying that the apartment lacked for nothing, from cling film, plasters, sewing kit etc to beach towels, masks and snorkels!! Carol and Graham were always contactable for any queries and they made every effort to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The apartment was excellent value for money. We certainly hope to return for another stay at this apartment next year.
thank you for your very generous review. We would be very happy too welcome you back.

"What more could you wish for?"
Other reviewers have already commented on most of the relevant comments in detail, so I'll try to keep it short and sweet .... Carol & Graham's apartment is beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean and also in a brilliant location - only 100 yards to the nearest bus stop for all of your travel around the island. Everything you could need for a wonderful, relaxing break is available in the apartment - so don't worry if you forget anything ('cos it will all be there for you!) Fantastic value for money - and the weather was absolutely glorious for us in early May. So ... just go ahead, and book it ASAP to avoid disappointment - before I make my reservation for next year!
thank you for your generous review. we would be delighted to welcome you back. C&G

"An Idyllic place to stay at this time of the year for us."
My partner and I spent 5 days at this apartment,we wished it could have been a longer stay. The property was well equipped, it included everything you could possibly think of, without the need to go out and buy even a bottle opener. The balcony are was very sunny, but there was always a little shade for those who like to escape the sun occasionally. It was so good to be able to use the public transport which was on the doorstep and ran with timed precision. This gave one the means to travel anywhere on the island without the need to hair a car. A five minute walk took you to a wide choice of restaurants, where there was also a small beach with wonderful views. The ice cream parlour there was especially worth a daily visit. Anyone who knows Malta/Gozo must be aware that the weather is predictably sunny with very rare inclement days. However, if you should experience one of these days, Carol and Graham have made available, dvd's, books, jigsaw puzzles and wi fi. If you require a comfortable place to stay with all the above added luxuries, then this it the place for you. Thank you Carol and Graham.
Thank you Sue & Darryl for a very kind and generous review. We hope we can welcome you again in the future.

"Great Hosts And Spacious Apartment!"
Carol and Graham were fabulous hosts, from the moment we sent the first enquiry they responded immediately by e-mail, followed up by calls on Skype to ensure that every detail was covered. They went out of their way to ensure that we had a great stay and couldn't have done more. The apartment is spacious and cool, and the best equipped we have ever rented. The welcome pack is brilliant and the whole apartment is nicely furnished and comfortable. You can sit and have breakfast on the nice private balcony and it also has views down the road to the square and the sea. There is a bus stop a few yards away, whereby you can get into Victoria in ten minutes and thus have access to the whole island without the expense of hiring a car. It's just five minutes walk to the seafront at Xlendi where there are a good range of restaurants and cafes. All in all, a wonderful and relaxing holiday and we can't wait to go back. A huge thank you to Carol and Graham for making it so enjoyable. We will definitely be back.
Thank you both for such a generous review. We are so happy that our efforts to give you somewhere nice to stay, are so appreciated and we look forward to seeing you again some time.

"Well equipped, spacious apartment"
This apartment has plenty of space and is extremely well equipped. The kitchen, in particular, had everything you needed and more. There is an abundance of pots, pans and utensils as well as cling film, kitchen roll, freezer bags etc. Carol and Graham (the owners) also provide a welcome pack that included bottled water, bread, butter, cheese etc to get you started . The apartment is bright and airy and stayed remarkably cool, even though it was extremely hot outside and a number of fans are provided. Carol and Graham have anticipated what guests need (or indeed may want) and have gone above and beyond the standard of most holiday apartments. The apartment is well situated for the sights and amenities of the beautiful Xlendi Bay and there is car parking at the back should you need it. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay here and wouldn't hesitate to return.
Many thanks for this kind review. We are so pleased that you appreciated our efforts to make your stay in our apartment, comfortable. Likewise, we also appreciated that you respected all that was there for your convenience and we can look forward to welcoming you back some time in the future.

My fiance and I booked for one week in July 2011 and ended up extending our stay by five days because we fell in love with Xlendi/Gozo. While planning our trip, we were not sure if we should split our time between Malta and Gozo -- in the end, we were so happy that we decided to stick to Gozo. The condo was gorgeous, in a superb location and everything down to the smallest details (ie cling-film, washing up liquid) was provided! Carol and Graham are wonderful owners and they went out of their way to make sure that we fully experienced Gozo. It is evident that they have invested a lot of time and resources into the place (new kitchen, extra shower, well decorated). The condo is just up the hill from Xlendi beach -- about a 5 minute walk. The beach area is quaint and quiet in comparison to Malta and not as "touristy". Cute restaurants lined the boardwalk and we enjoyed numerous meals, dining on fresh seafood while overlooking the bay. Xlendi is a great starting point for day adventures around Gozo. We rented a car for a couple days and easily jetted across the island. Scuba diving, snorkelling, cliff hiking, eco-tourism and swimming are all offered and we enjoyed a nice mix of activities. We could not have asked for a better trip or place to stay! We look forward to another trip to Gozo and will definitely book with Carol and Graham!
Many thanks for your generous review (our 1st!). Being our 1st year of offering holiday accommodation, we are so pleased that our efforts to try and give our guests a clean, comfortable and well equiped place place to stay, was so appreciated. We will endeavor to make sure it will always be this way.
