The lovely, original limestone walls of this newly converted farm house are very deep and ensure that the villa remains comfortably cool in the hot summer months. The living area is on the lower level with its separate entrance. The comfortable living room has an archway to the kitchen and dining room, all of which have wonderful vaulted arches and are decorated with local artefacts.
Dar Ta Pippa has three bedrooms. On the first floor there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds. The double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a separate shower. The twin room has an en-suite shower room. On the second floor there is another double bedroom with its own en-suite shower room. There is also a guest cloakroom with a shower.
There is optional air conditioning in all the bedrooms which has to be arranged and paid for locally.

The house is entered by a door to the pool area. It has terraces on first floor, accessed by an external stair case, including a roof terrace from where there are panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and villages.
The swimming pool area is walled for extra privacy. It measures 5.5 X 5.5 metres and also has a separate whirlpool. Patio dining furniture, a barbecue and sun beds complete a beautiful area which is perfect for hours of al fresco enjoyment.

For guests staying longer than seven nights there is a weekly maid service with a mid week towel change and bathroom clean.
The Island of Gozo region
Lying about 25 minutes by ferry from its neighbouring island of Malta, tiny Gozo is a rural hideaway that offers tranquillity and respite from the everyday hustle and bustle of life. Gozo is also known as The Island of Calypso, a name originating from the Greek mythological location of Ogygia referred to in Homer's Odyssey. The climate is perfect for an all year round break with mild winters and hot, dry summers made bearable by the cooling sea breeze. The countryside is green and fertile with gentle rolling hills topped with small villages, once defence strongholds against attack.
The Xaghra area
Centrally situated on the edge of the village of Xaghra this farmhouse is within 1 kilometre to the nearest mini market and the pretty square in the centre of the village. There are a couple of local bars and restaurants in the square where you can enjoy a coffee and sit and people watch. Nearby sights include the Xerri’s Grotto and Ninu’s Cave and the nearest of beach of Ramla is just a 5 minute drive away.
