The Island of Gozo region
Gozo (Maltese: Ghawdex) is a small island of the Maltese archipelago in the Mediterranean Sea. The island is part of the Southern European country of Malta; after the island of Malta itself, it is the second-largest island in the archipelago.
Gozo is 67 km² in size, which is approximately the same size as Manhattan. It lies approximately 6 km northwest of the nearest point of Malta, is of oval form, and is 14 km in length and 7.25 km in width.
Gozitans have a very strong identity within Malta as a whole country and Gozo is the only region in Malta which has a Minister responsible for it. Generally speaking, Gozo is more socially conservative than the rest of the country.
Probably the earliest inhabited part of Gozo, it is home to the Ggantija megaliths, the Xaghra Stone Circle, as well as underground features Xerri's Grotto and Ninu's Cave. It is the second-largest village after Nadur in Gozo, with a population of 4,200 people (Jun 2008). During the British period of its history, Xaghra was known as Caccia by foreign residents.

"A Perfact Place to Relax and Unwind"
When we drove into Xaghra, we got completely lost (our fault), but one phone call to the owners fixed this, and we met at the local shop and were brought to the house, which is actually really easy to… More

"what a fantastic holiday"
We stayed in the Villa for two weeks last August, we arrived in Gozo and was met by Paul who very kindly drove us to the Villa. We was met by his lovely wife and they both showed myself and my family around. What a beautiful and very tasteful place, fantastic views especially of the fireworks. The bus stops are right outside to take you down to Marsalforn which is full of restaurants and great snorkelling. There is also a grocery shop within walking distance and a lovely man called Sonny even delivered some of our groceries for no charge. We are a family of five with two teenagers and a six year old, they really enjoyed getting in the pool after a day out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this villa.
Thank you for your kind review. We are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay in one of our villas.
Our aim is to give our customers the best service available in Gozo at a very convenient price.
