About this location
The East Anglia region
Norfolk attracts many visitors wishing to enjoy the scenery, wildlife (especially birds), watersports, beaches, cycling (it's quite flat) and charm of the area.
Norfolk is one of the driest counties in England with warm summers and only an average rainfall of 624mm. With average summer temperatures reaching the early 20's what more could you ask for.
This year, early on we had some snow Norfolk is that typical picture postcard, beautiful in the winter too.
The Norfolk Broads is a network of inland water ways. It attracts many visitors wishing to enjoy the scenery, wildlife (especially birds), watersports, beaches, cycling (it's quite flat!) and charm of the area.
Wroxham is situated on the River Bure in the heart of the Norfolk Broads about 10 miles from Norwich and 3 miles from Horning. The family friendly village provides good local amenities including riverside pubs (all serving food), restaurants, various takeaways, tea rooms, butcher, newsagent, grocery store, department store, post office, hair & beauty salon and fishing tackle/bait shop. Fine sandy beaches are a 20 minute drive away.
The property has its own mooring and there is a slip way nearby (Horning) for Trailer Sailors. If you bring your own boat, or you hire one locally, there is so much to discover and explore. For peace and tranquillity or uninterrupted sailing and fishing, head for the Black Horse Broad or Ranworth Broad. If you want to go with the flow head up river to popular destinations such as Horning (1 hour cruising) or Potter Heigham with it’s famous bridge (2½ hour cruising).
Opened in 2007 is the fabulous Bewilderwood adventure forest, a magical and thrilling experience for children and adults alike.

"5 star luxury, idyllic."
Our 2nd stay at this 5 star fab house. Superb location and so tranquil looking out over the water. Fishing from the decking at must. Close to the shops. Would love to live in this house, did not want … More
Thank you for your lovely review and we apologise for the noisy builders, unfortunately this is something that is out of our control and we were not made aware of either. Hope to see you again soon. :)

"An excellent, modern open plan and spacious riverside house"
The property is bigger than expected for a three bed property and is modern with lots of natural light and overlooking the river. The living room and kitchen/diner are spacious and seem to have everything you need. We were also impressed that the property had wifi. In a nutshell, the property and furnishings were excellent.
It is centrally located to Wroxham but is also tranquil and is suitable for adults and older children due to the close proximity of the water.
When we arrived the property was spotless and we were very impressed with the service we received from Richie at Riverside Rentals.
Thank you for such a lovely review of Maryl and we hope to see you all again soon.
