The recently completely renovated apartment 'Under the Pomologist' is situated on the 2nd Floor of a turn-of-the-century-townhouse under the same name.

On a total living-area of 115 m² you will find: 2 bedrooms (a king king-size bed of 160 cm with separate mattresses, each room with a seating area that invites you to relax, bury yourself in a book or enjoy a cup of coffee just for two), a large living room (with convertible sofa, which is a real bed replacement). 2 bathrooms (both with toilet and shower, the larger one with rain shower and bathtub), a large, bright, fully equipped kitchen with seating for 6 people.

During the recent renovation of the apartment great emphasis was laid on the old-charm (sanded floors, stucco, large double doors, new windows modelled after the original wooden windows). The furnishing is a mix of modern equipment and traditional elements.

After a busy day in Wroclaw or the surrounding region or on a rainy day you can explore our extensive private library (many books on Wroclaw and Silesia, but also fiction and DVDs/Blurays). Read about the chequered history of this city, discover off-the-track-places or follow famous investigator Eberhard Mock on his crime investigation in the pre-war city (the mentioned literature is available in English). Or maybe just watch a 3D-movie on our large flat screen TV. The TV is also equipped with internet and Skype camera.

We can offer secure underground parking for 5 Euro/day just in 150 m distance from the apartment.

A 18-20 minutes walk will take you to the beautiful marketsquare. Tram and bus stops are in a distance 150 meters from the apartment (2 stops to the market square). The Jewish Cementary and the Centennial Hall (World Heritage Site) can also be reached with a longer walk or tram (5 and 6 stops respectively).

The West Poland/Sudeten Mountains region

Krkonoše: German: Riesengebirge; English, sometimes: Giant Mountains, Silesian German: Riesageberge) is a mountain range located in the north of the Czech Republic and the south-west of Poland, part of the Sudetes mountain system (part of the Bohemian Massif). The Czech-Polish border, which divides the historic regions of Bohemia and Silesia, runs along the main ridge.

The highest peak, Sn?žka (Polish: ?nie?ka, German: Schneekoppe), is the Czech Republic's highest point with an elevation of 1,602 metres (5,256 ft).

On both sides of the border, large areas of the mountains are designated national parks (the Krkonoše National Park in the Czech Republic and the Karkonosze National Park in Poland), and these together constitute a cross-border biosphere reserve under the UNESCO Man and the Biosphere Programme. The River Elbe rises within the Krkonoše. The range has a number of major ski resorts, and is a popular destination for tourists engaging in downhill and cross-country skiing, hiking, cycling and other activities.

Wroclaw

One of the most dynamic, thriving and interesting cities in Poland. The capital of the historic region of Silesia is descriped in many guide-books. You will find extensive information and reading material in our apartment.

You need tips for something extraordinary or want to find some hidden gems. We are happy to help.

Maybe a climbing park for the kids or taking an alternative walk through the city, following the crime scenes of Poland's most famous crime writer.
