"luxurious and tranquil"

stay with my husband who is wheelchair bound found the property it self to be very spacious & well equipped with a wonderful wet room, just 2 negative being advertised as wheelchair accessible unfortunately the pathway around the barn to the entrance was stone and slate shingle which was unsuitable for the wheelchair to move on, luckily we had are our own ramp which I placed onto their ramp and he went around on the grass, I think it would be a good idea if this was a sold surface which would make it then accessible for wheelchairs. the other small negative is that it would be handy if the bed was raised from the floor so it would make it more accessible for anyone who needs to use a hoist . still a lovely property and would stay again.

"spacious warm and well equipped"

One daughter and 2 elderly parents visited...A pleasant warm inviting space, accessible for people with mobility problems, easily accessible from the M5(ten minutes drive). Everything you could need. a warm home from home. The beds were very comfortable, even the fold out bed kindly fetched over for use was extremely comfortable) the shower great too ( maybe a rail to hold onto might have been more advantageous for the elderly but understand the cosmetic implications) .There are trains running not so far away which might disturb the lighter sleepers like myself but all in all couldn't ask for a nicer spot. Would certainly go again and recommend to anyone.

"First class accommodation, location and definately recommend!"

We went there for christmas to get away and have a peaceful and relaxing few days. It was first class, the most enjoyable christmas for a few years. What made it was everything really. We were made so welcome by Sarah and Matt, they couldnt have done any more for us. The accommodation is super, clean, comfortable and has absolutely everything from a can opener to washing machine, all the utensills you have at home! The barn was very warm and cosy and they even put up a christmas tree and lights, thank so so much! Only one thing that could have made it just a tiny bit more comfortable would have been another small two seater sofa but no big deal. The location is wonderful, rural, peaceful no pressure, no noise no hassle. Loved the duvet set that much, had to go and buy one when i got back lol! Well will we go back, that is the question? Dam right we will, if they will have us again! Really really great retreat, thank you both!

"Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location"

Absolutely beautiful cottage. Big open plan kitchen and dining area, great cooking facilities, good table to eat your meal at and a comfortable sofa to sit on and watch the widescreen television. Big bedroom with a very big bed and a bathroom with a bath for relaxing in and a wet room style shower. When we go self catering we take extras which we do not normally find, extra toilet roll, salt & vinegar, kitchen towel - these were all provided.
Good location for trips out as you were at Junction 14 of the M5 within 15 mins of leaving the cottage. There is a railway line at the bottom of an adjacent field and although you hear trains going past they do not disturb you or your sleep even with the window open.

"Best self catering cottage we've experienced in England"

We had a delightful stay in Blackberry Barn. It was a very comfortable one bedroom restored barn. The restoration was fantastic with both modern and historic touches. The kitchen appliances were modern and performed well. The large flatscreen television with freeview was appreciated. The property owner was very accomodating and allowed us to check in early. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and plan to stay there again soon.
