West Sussex has a range of seaside attractions and interesting countryside. There are historic public gardens and sites on the South Downs. and nearby National trust and Heritage properties. There is a strong presence of watersports and sailing actiivities in the area. Both nearby Brighton and Chichester have renowned festivals and extensive entertainments programmes.
Worthing area
Within Worthing there is a local museum and literary connections to several buildings. Small boat fishermen sell their catch of the day along the seafront and fishing for sport takes place along the award-winning pier.
