About the home

Kipper Cottage has been completely refurnished to provide comfortable and very well presented accommodation for four people. There is an open-plan living room and kitchen, which are bright and spacious, tastefully furnished and have lovely views of the creek. The Cottage benefits from en-suites to both bedrooms and French doors leading from all principal rooms to the charming rear garden with decked area. There is a pretty garden path leading down to an attractive chalet on the waters edge which has electricity, water and a gas BBQ. Kipper Cottage also has a private pontoon and slipway on to the creek. Both house and chalet have sunny decks with seating and tables with great views perfect for reading and relaxing with a glass of wine!

In front of the cottage there is parking for several cars.
There are lovely walks in the vicinity, five minutes to Wootton beach. Kipper Cottage is ideally situated near the Wight Link Car Ferry at Fishbourne.
The village shops are approx. 2 kilometres away also the village pubs which serve good food and various takeaways. The yacht club offers sailing opportunities.

The Isle of Wight region

Located just off the southern coast of England, the Isle of Wight is a charming island, with lots to do and see. It has more sun than the mainland. It should come as no surprise that the island has attracted eminent visitors ever since the Victorian era, among them Alfred Lord Tennyson, Charles Dickens, and of course Queen Victoria herself!

The Wootton area

Wootton Bridge is found midway between the towns of Ryde and Newport, which are 7 miles apart. It is a pleasant small village, perfect for a break-away to relax and enjoy nature.

The Victorian town of Ryde is a short drive and is the second major town on the island. There are a variety of restaurants, bars and shops, and for those with families there are the many other lists of attractions. The gently sloping sandy beach spans approximately 1 mile to Appley.
