With a temperate climate, the lodge is ideally suited to explore the beautiful countryside and is only 2 miles from J16 of M4 making it an ideal escape from London, which is only 1.5 hours away.
The beautiful city of Bath with its mix of architecture, theatres and excellent restaurants is only 25 minutes away and there are great shopping facilities in Swindon, Bristol as well as Bath.
The Wootton Bassett area
The market town of Wootton Bassett is a short distance away and provides all your daily shopping needs. Many of the shops are locally owned private enterprises, giving great personal service.
The Cotswold Water Park covering 40 square miles of countryside with 140 lakes and miles of bridleways, pathways and cycleways is a short drive away providing a vast range of leisure activities including water sports.
And, of course, the Wiltshire Golf and Country Club provides all your golfing needs as well as great family facilities including heated indoor pool, jacuzzi, steam room, gymnasium and bar/restaurant with an exceptional carvery on Sundays. In addition, there is plenty of room outside the lodge for playing ball games.

Absolutely Fantastic self catering house. - Had a great stay - the location was good and allowed us to visit lots of attractions all within easy reach. My husband and children made use of the pool everyday. The house itself is really spacious, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The beds were really comfy and great shower too...Would definately recommend. |

Excellently presented, excellent value for money - brilliant location. You cannot ask for better!!!! This is the best holiday rental we have had to date. Everything needed was present. Literally a 'home from home'. Great location for visiting many local attractions e.g. Salisbury, Oxford, Blenheim Palace, Reading, Cirencester, Stonehenge all within 60 minutes car drive. |
