The Central Southern England / Wiltshire region
Wiltshire is a county of gentle rolling hills surrounded by large plains. It is two hours from London and just over an hour from Heathrow. Bisected by the M4 and M3, Wiltshire is a perfect base for Avon, Somerset, the Cotswolds and Berkshire. A temperate climate persists and the historic towns and cities of Malmesbury, Salisbury, Bath, Marlborough and Bristol are all on the doorstep. Stonehenge, the Avebury Circle and the famous hillside White Horses are in the County. Wiltshire is a place of history and mystery and one of the main tourist centres of Southern England due to its proximity to many other areas.
Wootton Bassett area
The old market town of Wootton Bassett is on the doorstep of our holiday lodges. It's personal shopping High Street is a marked difference to the big malls and outlets of Swindon and Bristol.
2 miles from Jct 16 - M4. Stonehenge 35 minutes. Avebury Circle 15 mins. Ridgeway walks 15 mins. Bristol 35 mins. Bath 25mins. Marlborough 15 mins. Swindon Outlet Mall and Cribbs Causeway Shopping Mall are within easy reach. Cotswold Water Park 20 mins.

Elderly people welcome - be aware bedrooms are located on the first floor. Single sex parties welcome (golf breaks, etc)- no hen or stag parties. 4-day breaks - none less.

Guestbook for Ridgeway 10
Stayed at the Wiltshire holiday lodge village last week in Avebury 2 and just wanted to say how fantastic it all was - the photos really don't do justice to the whole place. The golf and all facilities were great the lodge was a very high standard indeed. The area is beautiful with lots to do a short drive away.
