Home description

Hartland Lodge has been built in the style of a Finnish lodge and offers accommodation for groups of up to eight people.

An exciting holiday spot for a large family or a group of friends, Hartland Lodge has been laid out over one floor and the living areas have been designed in an open-plan style. There is a decked area to the rear of the property, offering ample opportunity to enjoy a glass of wine as the evening sun goes down. There is off-road parking for up to two cars.






The West Country / Devon region

Devon, with its quiet country lanes and patchwork of lush green fields, sleepy villages is not to be missed. Surf its north coast beaches, explore the rugged charms of Dartmoor’s peaks, cycle the Tarka Trail or explore Rosemoor’s fabulous RHS garden. Stately home lovers will be spoiled with Cotehele, Castle Drogo and St Anthony House nearby, and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?


Woolsery area

Woolsery is an attractive village, set within the unspoiled rolling North Devon countryside. The village is bordered by wonderful coastlines and country walks, and its history can be traced back to before the Domesday Book. The heart of the village was built around its Norman Church and there are many small festivals and fairs throughout the year, including the ‘Woolsery Show’, which has been established since the 1800’s. Woolsery is also famous for its cheese. A trip to the local dairy will show you cheeses handmade using traditional methods using fresh goat’s and cow’s milk to produce a range of cheeses, from soft through to hard. Woolsery village is within easy reach of the sandy beaches of Westward Ho and the fishing village of Instow and Appledore.

Nearby, you can also visit Clovelly with its steep cobbled streets and Hartland & Stoke with their Abbey and church, whilst surf-enthusiasts will appreciate the well-known surfing centre of Bude.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'Low', 'Mid', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
