LIVING AREAS
There are two living/sitting rooms in the house, with the first being ideal for the younger generation and the second, with its commanding views, slightly more formal. Entrance to the property is via the 1st Sitting Room/Games room with laminate floor, ideal as a lounge for youngsters. It has a double sofa bed, TV and X-box with a selection of games provided, as well as shelves with books, games and toys. This is the perfect play and relaxation zone. An additional storage unit also contains an iron and ironing board, fishing nets, windbreaks etc.The main lounge has panoramic west-facing bay windows with absolute uninterrupted views over the Atlantic, with Woolacombe and Putsborough blue flag beaches to the left, Baggy Point and Lundy Island ahead and the rugged coastal outcrop of Morte Point to the right - truly a spectacular scene. This room has 3 leather sofas, coffee table and TV with surround sound system, DVD Player and Sky (with basic package). The décor is contemporary brown and cream with wood laminate floor.Entertain and dine in style in the dedicated dining room, with two tables - one seating 8 and the other 4. Be mesmerized whilst watching the waves roll in to shore or play a game of dominoes or cards. There is a feature fireplace, stereo with multi CD changer and wood laminate floors.
KITCHEN
The kitchen is on the same level as the two reception rooms and dining room. It has blue and cream décor and very well equipped with all the essential items required. Useful items such as a fridge and 3-drawer freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, double oven and ceramic hob, microwave, kettle, caffetierre, blender and 4-slice toaster is provided.
BEDROOMS
The bedrooms are split over the 2nd floor and ground floor.
Ground Floor Bedrooms:
Bedroom 1 – the master bedroom with floor to ceiling bay window and the same aspect and views as the dining room and feature fireplace. This bedroom has a double bed, substantial wardrobe with drawers, bedside table with reading light.
Bedroom 2 - another double bedroom with the same aspect and views as the lounge. Double bed, pine wardrobe, full length cheval mirror, bedside table and reading light.
Bedroom 3 - double bedroom, bedside table, reading light, 2 built in cupboards, chest of drawers.
Bedroom 4 - twin beds, double wardrobe and dresser, bedside cabinets & reading lamps. There is a lower level exit door with storm porch.
2nd Floor Bedrooms:
Bedroom 5 with twin beds, bedside cabinet, wardrobe, pine drawers with vanity mirror, laminate floor.
Third level rooms with a view! Morte point, craggy outcrop, walker’s paradise, twin beds. Bedroom 6 - double bed loft-styled bedroom, bedside table, pine wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside table and laminate floor.
BATHROOMS
There is a shower Room with large glass shower cubicle, pedestal basin and WC on the ground floor, whilst the family bathroom situated on a mezzanine level between the 1st and 2nd floor. This bathroom has a large shaped bath, separate glass shower enclosure, pedestal basin and corner WC. White painted wood panelled walls with a blue and white nautical theme.

The outside decked area at first floor level is perfect for al fresco dining, watching the sun sink over the Atlantic and simply breathtaking views. Seating is provided for your comfort and a charcoal BBQ is provided. Additional storage can be found under the decked area for boards etc as well as a tap for rinsing wetsuits & beach gear.

The North Devon Coast
For spectacular scenery and beautiful beaches whatever the season, there's no better place in England than North Devon coast and in particular Croyde, Woolacombe, Saunton and Putsborough. The beaches are recognised as possibly some of the finest and cleanest in Europe - with two miles of soft golden sand, plenty of rock pools and amazing surf.
The coastline is as rugged as it is beautiful dotted with magnificent cliffs, tiny cove and picturesque harbours. It was once the haunt of smugglers, pirates and wreckers and the fascinating history is retold in many small museums along the coast. Today visitors who love Henry Williamson's famous Tarka the Otter can retrace Tarka's journey by following the Tarka Trail.
Croyde is ideally located within easy reach of the harbours of Clovelly and Lynmouth which are also perfect places to relax. Meander through the streets of Lynmouth and take a ride on the unique water powered cliff railway to the twin town of Lynton which is perched high on the cliffs. Clovelly is another of the prettiest coastal village where it feels as if time stood still. The only means of transport on these famous cobbled streets are donkeys and sleds.
Along the coastline surrounding a natural harbour is Ilfracombe with its Victorian architecture, Esplanade and famous Tunnels Beach. The harbour is always busy with fishing boats sailing in and out together with the paddle steamer Balmoral which offers day trips to Lundy Island. North Devon has something to offer and appeal to everyone, take time to come and find out for yourselves, we will make you very welcome.
The Woolacombe area
Woolacombe is an ideal centre for an amazing range of Adventure Sports including Surfing, Paragliding, Kayaking, Coasteering and much more. Take a boat trip to Lundy Island,or a coastal Wildlife Cruise, enjoy a day out on a fishing boat or saddle up and go horse riding across the sand dunes and bridle ways. Woolacombe, extending to Putsborough, making a 3 mile sandy beach holds the 'England for Excellence Gold Award' for best family resort and was voted the Best British Beach in the Mail On Sunday. This stretch of golden sand has won both the blue flag and Premier Seaside Beach awards for its cleanliness, water quality and facilities. Lifeguards ensure safe family swimming during the summer and surfers come from all over the country to enjoy the great waves and clean water. Enjoy family friendly pubs, serving good pub grub. Spoil yourself at one of the many seafood restaurants in and around Woolacombe and Mortehoe, or just have a takeaway, fish and chips or a delicious cream tea as well as browse the many surf and variety shops. Visitors of all ages will find plenty to do away from the beach. There's a friendly, laid-back atmosphere here which visitors are sure to enjoy. Woolacombe and Mortehoe are very dog friendly areas with plenty of walks your dog will enjoy.
