The West Country / Devon region

Situated in the heart of Mortehoe, a pretty stone built village mentioned in the Doomsday book, Kilburnie is a large terraced family house. It offers accommodation for nine with comfortable living space over three floors and wooden flooring throughout.


Woolacombe area

Woolacombe bay has fantastic beaches and is world famous throughout the surfing community. Surf gear can be hired for everyone who wants to enjoy the great waves. The beaches have been awared the Blue Flag and Premiere Beach awards, and the water quality, facitlites and cleanliness are excellent.

Whether you want a holiday of relaxation, family fun or somthing a little more strenuous, you will be spoilt for choice here! You can choose from surfing, horse riding, visiting galleries, or walking.

The mild climate of North Devon makes this a wonderful year round holiday destination.

The front door opens into a bright kitchen/dining area. There is a long pine table with seating for eight and a separate table for four. The kitchen is a mix of modern units with traditional farmhouse dresser units and base, double sink, gas cooker, microwave, fridge with icebox and store cupboard. Two large windows offer dual aspect.

In the hallway stands a piano, not too out of tune!

The bathroom, along the hall, consists of walk-in shower, toilet, sink and wooden flooring. There is also a washer/dryer.

The decked balcony on the split-level, through glass patio doors, offers wonderful views over national trust land and down towards the sea.

On the first floor, there is a wonderfully light sitting room, with two sofas (one a sofa bed), a pump organ, TV offering digital channels and a DVD player. There are doors that open out onto a balcony, which enjoys the evening sun, perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine and watching the world drift by.

Next door is a double bedroom.

There is a toilet on the next split-level.

The third floor offers three bedroom, two doubles and one twin. There is also a separate bath with sink.

There is a chest of drawers and wardrobes plus gas central heating throughout.

The garden area is shared by all houses in the crescent. There is use of a rotary and children's climbing equipment.
