LIVING AREAS
Enter SEA BREEZE into a useful utility room, which houses a washing machine and tumble drier.
There are two living rooms. The first is downstairs and has a large inviting wood burner (logs supplied), and dining table seating 4 people. Large patio doors open onto a patio.
The second living room is upstairs and has wonderful ocean views. Two sofas (one converts into a double sofa bed) and a big bean bag seat 6 or 7 people comfortably. There is a second dining table in this spacious room. Sky TV (basic package) is provided, as well as a DVD player, DVD selection, sound system and a large selection of books. There is a stair gate for young children.
KITCHEN
The galley kitchen is very well equipped, with a traditional butler sink. Appliances include a fridge, separate freezer, oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, toaster, kettle, cafetiere and blender.
BEDROOMS
Both bedrooms are upstairs.
Bedroom 1: Double bedroom. This room is light and airy with pretty floral wallpaper and quality furniture.
Bedroom 2: Contains a single bed and trundle bed (sleeping two people).
BATHROOMS
Downstairs is a useful shower room with WC.
Upstairs along a corridor is the large family bathroom with bath, shower over, WC and sink. Bath towels are thoughtfully provided.

A communal lawn for drying clothes and wetsuits is to the rear of the property. There is a separate shared lawn area with views to the ocean, which is a great place to have BBQs and watch the sun set in the evenings. The nearest beach is just a few minutes walk away.

The Woolacombe / Mortehoe area
WALK TO – Visit Mortehoe Museum which gives a glimpse of Old Morte and the days when smugglers lured ships onto the rocks. Mortehoe is surrounded by wonderful scenery, much of it part of the Voluntary Marine Conservation Area. Above the rugged beaches stand the hill-sides and cliff-tops along which walkers can explore the wonderful scenery which is part of the SOUTH WEST COAST PATH. You might want to buy fresh crabs or lobsters from local fishermen or explore the few shops, pubs and restaurants.
Woolacombe is an ideal centre for an amazing range of adventure sports including surfing, paragliding, kayaking, coasteering and much more. Take a boat trip to Lundy Island,or a coastal Wildlife Cruise, enjoy a day out on a fishing boat or saddle up and go horse riding across the sand dunes and bridle ways. Woolacombe, extending to Putsborough making a 3 mile sandy beach, holds the 'England for Excellence Gold Award' for best family resort and was voted the Best British Beach in the Mail On Sunday. Its beach has been voted one of Britain's best and lies between Morte Point and Baggy Point. This three-mile long stretch of golden sand has won both the blue flag and Premier Seaside Beach awards for its cleanliness, water quality and facilities. Life guards ensure safe family swimming during the summer and surfers come from all over the country to enjoy the great waves and clean water. Enjoy family friendly pubs, serving good pub grub. Spoil yourself at one of the many seafood restaurants in and around Woolacombe and Mortehoe, or just have a takeaway, fish and chips or a delicious cream tea as well as many surf and variety shops. Visitors of all ages will find plenty to do away from the beach. There's a friendly, laid-back atmosphere here which visitors are sure to enjoy. Woolacombe and Mortehoe are very dog friendly areas with plenty of walks your dog will enjoy.
CYCLE TO - National Cycle Network, Devon Coast Route 27. This is a wonderfully scenic circular route on the North Devon coast with a link that allows a start and finish in Ilfracombe, and takes in two superb traffic free sections, the National Trust coast route beside the sea at Woolacombe Sands and the former railway path from Ilfracombe to Willingcott Cross. The remainder is along attractive minor roads through quiet villages and rolling Devon farmland.
DRIVE TO – Explore the beautiful Exmoor National Park. Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, The Milky Way and The Big Sheep all within a short driving distance. Spend a quiet day on protected Hele Bay beach or enjoy a Devon cream tea at Lee Bay. Cultural days can be passed at Arlington Court, historic Clovelly Village, Watermouth Castle, Lynton, Lynmouth, Victorian-styled Ilfracombe with its quaint fishing harbour, Mortehoe (mentioned in the Doomsday Book) and many more. Willingcott Golf Course is a mere 3 miles down the road. Finally, picturesque walks through beautiful forested areas and running rivers such as at Watersmeet will complete your wonderful stay in this beautiful part of England.
