Sea Croft is all about the views. Perfect coastal accommodation for a year-round active or restful holiday. Just sit and admire the elevated westerly aspect above picturesque sandy Grunta beach with uninterrupted panoramic views towards Lundy Island and amazing sunsets over the Atlantic. For the active, the Coastal Path is on your doorstep. Hop across the road and over a stile and you are onto the National Trust Land and one of the best Coastal walks in Britain. Steps access Grunta beach (at low tide) in a 5 minute walk. The famous surf and golden sands of Blue Flag winning Woolacombe beach are a 15 minute walk down the Path. A 5 minute walk up the hill finds the beautful historic village of Mortehoe with its 3 pubs and village shops.
Sea Croft is a recently refurbished semi-detached Edwardian house featuring 5 large bedrooms with spacious en-suite bathrooms with natural stone fittings. Full double glazing and gas-fired central heating provides a cosy warm atmosphere all year round. The kitchen/dining area is fitted out to a high specification as a luxurious home away from home.
A wet room by the back door is provided for wet walkers, surfers or pets!
It is our private holiday home that we take great pride in managing for the enjoyment of ourselves and our guests.
Exploring by car you can easily access Exmoor National Park a few miles inland or the rugged North Devon coast.
Some superb golf challenges await the golfers especially renowned Saunton Sands 15 minutes drive away as well as Ilfracombe and Westward Ho Golf courses.

Fully insulated with double glazing and gas-fired central heating throughout. Warm and cosy on those cooler evenings.

Off-road gravelled parking for 3 cars.
Steps lead up from the parking area. The path continues up steps from the deck through a terraced side garden with rockery up to a paved patio which can be accessed from bedroom 5. Further steps lead up to a private and sunny
sitting/pergola area which backs onto National Trust land and enjoys 270 degree views across the coastline.
Conditions
A deposit of £350 is payable at the time of booking. £100 will be credited to the cost of the holiday and £250 will be retained as a Breakage deposit to cover the cost of any damages. Increased deposit to £450 for guests with pets.
Breakages deposit will be fully refunded within 1 week of the end of your holiday after inspection less any explained charges.
The full cost of the holiday must be paid 4 weeks before the date of the holiday. If it is not paid, the property may be re-let.
If full payment is not made, the deposit is lost.
If you have to cancel after making full payment, we will make a full refund less deposit only if we manage to re-let the property at full rate.

All interests are catered for with superb watersports with hidden sandy beaches and rugged coastline. Walking options are numerous including Exmoor National Park and the South West Coastal Path. Visit historic towns and National Trust properties.
Enjoy the excellent local food, especially the seafood and local drinks in the traditional comforts of an English pub.

The Woolacombe / Mortehoe area
Woolacombe holds the 'England for Excellence Gold Award' for best family resort. The three-mile long stretch of golden sand has won both the blue flag and Premier Seaside Beach awards for it's cleanliness, water quality and facilities. Life guards ensure safe family swimming during the summer and surfers come from all over the country to enjoy the great waves and clean water.
Woolacombe is a friendly village with a great selection of pubs, restaurants and cafes.
Mortehoe is a historic attractive village with spectacular views about 1 mile from Woolacombe. Mortehoe is listed in the Doomsday Book and has many attractive stone cottages and a rare barrel-roofed thirteenth-century church. Mortehoe Museum details Old Morte and the days when smugglers lured ships onto the rocks. Surrounded by wonderful scenery, mainly National Trust Land and a Marine Conservation Area, there are stunning walks through unspoilt countryside full of wild flowers and animals. The South West Coast Path winds above the rugged coastline and secluded beaches. Mortehoe also has 3 friendly pubs, a couple of shops, a restaurant and fish and chip shop.
The beaches offer superb surfing, bathing or sea kayaking. Surf schools operate out of Woolacombe. Sea Kayaks can be hired.
Take a boat trip to the beautiful Lundy Island from Ilfracombe or Bideford.
Go mackerel fishing or just a wildlife cruise from Ilfracombe or Bideford.
Horse ridng is available from local riding stables.

There is off-road parking space for 3 cars just past the house. Mortehoe public car park is 5 minutes walk up the hill through the village.
The Woolacombe-Barnstaple bus passes right past the house and stops in Mortehoe.
The nearest rail station is 22kms away in Barnstaple.
The nearest airport is 90kms away in Exeter or you can take a train to Barnstaple.
Bristol Airport is the nearest International airport.
