DUCKS COTTAGE is a gorgeous home situated within the quiet Willingcott Valley Resort and is a wonderful combination of a family holiday park in a great location, but without the chaos, which so often accompanies a busy seaside resort. DUCKS COTTAGE is situated only 2 miles from the world famous blue flag beaches of Woolacombe, Croyde and Putsborough, yet the peace and serenity of the Willingcott Golf Course environment affords a welcome relief to those who live busy and stressful lives. This is a 3 bedroomed home, lovingly furnished and with all the character one would expect of a countryside cottage. The cottage offers reverse living with the social space located on the first floor to take advantage of the stunning view over the rolling North Devon countryside. Wi-fi is available in the clubhouse area
There is a warm and cosy lounge, tastefully furnished and with wood beamed ceilings. The lounge contains sofas seating 6+ easily, a flat screen TV and CD/ DVD player. Open plan to the lounge is a dining area, comfortably seating 6 and with views over the countryside through cottage pane windows.
The kitchen caters for all your needs and is modern and airy, but with cottage appeal. There is a dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer, 4-slice toaster, oven and hob; to name some of the amenities.
There are 3 comfortable bedrooms, lavishly furnished and all with views over the countryside and/or golf course. Two of the rooms are situated on the ground floor, and comprise a master double room with en-suite w/c and wash basin. There is also a twin room with ample storage. The 3rd bedroom is on the first floor and enjoys a view over the lake, whilst offering the comfort of a double bed.

The exterior of the property has masses of space, including a pond and with the golf course a short walk away. Also on the resort is a clubhouse, including bar and restaurant. Willingcott is set in 100 acres of beautiful landscaped grounds including a small fishing lake. On site at Willingcott Valley Resort is an outdoor heated swimming pool (15 metre). This is available from Whitsun until the end of September - available only to guests that are staying within the Willingcott Resort. Please note that the pool is NOT supervised by a lifeguard or pool attendant. For the golfer in you, DUCKS COTTAGE is set within a stunning Par 72 18 hole golf course (fees apply) that welcomes all.
WALK TO - Woolacombe is an ideal centre for an amazing range of adventure sports including surfing, paragliding, kayaking, coasteering and much more. Take a boat trip to Lundy Island,or a coastal Wildlife Cruise, enjoy a day out on a fishing boat or saddle up and go horse riding across the sand dunes and bridle ways. Woolacombe, extending to Putsborough, making a 3 mile sandy beach, holds the 'England for Excellence Gold Award' for best family resort and was voted the Best British Beach in the Mail On Sunday. This stretch of golden sand has won both the blue flag and Premier Seaside Beach awards for its cleanliness, water quality and facilities. Lifeguards ensure safe family swimming during the summer and surfers come from all over the country to enjoy the great waves and clean water. Enjoy family friendly pubs, serving good pub grub. Spoil yourself at one of the many seafood restaurants in and around Woolacombe and Mortehoe, or just have a takeaway, fish and chips or a delicious cream tea as well as browse the many surf and variety shops. Visitors of all ages will find plenty to do away from the beach. There's a friendly, laid-back atmosphere here which visitors are sure to enjoy. Woolacombe and Mortehoe are very dog friendly areas with plenty of country walks your dog will enjoy, not to mention the rugged beauty of the South West Coast Path.
CYCLE TO - National Cycle Network, Devon Coast Route 27. This is a wonderfully scenic circular route on the North Devon coast with a link that allows a start and finish in Ilfracombe. and takes in two superb traffic free sections, the National Trust coast route beside the sea at Woolacombe Sands and the former railway path from Ilfracombe to Willingcott Cross. The remainder is along attractive minor roads through quiet villages and rolling Devon farmland.
DRIVE TO - Explore the beautiful Exmoor National Park, Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, The Milky Way and The Big Sheep, all within a short driving distance. Cultural days can be passed at Arlington Court, historic Clovelly Village, Watermouth Castle, Lynton, Lynmouth, Victorian-styled Ilfracombe with its quaint fishing harbour, Appledore and many more. Saunton Golf Course is a mere 3 miles down the road with its 2 famous links courses. Finally, picturesque walks through beautiful forested areas and running rivers such as The Lyn at Watersmeet will complete your wonderful stay in this beautiful part of England.
