Farmhouse | 2 bedrooms | sleeps 6
The farm house layout is base around a modern open plan to maximise potential and options for use.
The farm house provides total seclusion and privacy for those who just want to get away from everything or just don't like the neighbours keeping tabs on what you are doing.
The farm is a working farm but guests have full run of the farm provided they don't disturb the animals! This opens the possibility of guests bringing Caravans or tents that can be pitched in the field where electrical hook ups are provided.
It is even possible to bring your own horse or other exotic animal and keep them in the field! Nearby we have sandy beaches where you can gallop a horse in the surf all year round. If you don't have your own horse, there are nearby riding stables.
We are 10 minutes from Newgale beach, one of the longest sandy beaches in the country which is a mecca for wind surfers, kite surfers or just plain sand castle building. At the ends of the beaches are excellent caves and rock pools. (we can even arrange for a Doctor of Marine Biology to give guided walks). The picture was taken in June and the number of people visible in the picture is normal. You can even park right by the beach in high summer without having to feed a parking meter. These beaches are truly some of the best kept secrets on the UK.

We can be very flexible in how the farm house is set up for each guest. When we know if you want double beds, single beds, cots etc, the house will be set up for exactly your requirements.
The kitchen is fully equipped for modern living. In fact we often use this house ourselves if there are projects on on the farm, so you really are guests in our farm house, not just another customer in a commercial enterprise. The result is that you will find many of those 'unique' little quality touches which only come with a true home.
The main space heating in the house is the log burner, and ample free wood is provided for this. There is supplementary heating by electric fires and the heated towel rail, for those lovely warm towels.
|Further details outdoors|
There are multiple external areas which guests are free to use.
Ample tables and chairs are provided along with coal and gas BBQs and a Patio Heater.
Please note we are not keen on cats and dogs in the main house. Smoking is not allowed in the house.
The West Wales/Pembrokeshire region
Pembrokeshire has a surprisingly mild climate, being very similar to Cornwall. If you look on a map south Wales and cornwall are not far apart in a straight line even if its nearly 200 miles by road. It is often said that Pembrokeshire is a forgotten jewel in the British Isles being almost totally overlooked. In many respects it is like south coast resorts 40 years ago without the tourists and commercialisation that most places now seam to suffer.
Whilst South Pembrokeshire towns like Tenby have made it onto the tourist map, North and West Pembrokeshire really are different.
There are literally dozens of almost deserted little coves and beaches connected by the coast path and much of the stunning scenery is protected by National Park Status.
There are a variety of activities in the local area, such as rural crafts and specialist nature painting courses.
There are ample outlets for the more mainstream activities such as fishing, horse riding, cycling, mountain biking etc
Our farm house is situated next to a SSSI site and has excellent wildlife.
