The annex is a fully furnished completely self contained apartment adjoining the owners property, situated in a private lane of just 3 properties and is quite and secluded, in the lovely village of Barkham. The property consists of a comfortable lounge with fitted fire place, lounge suite, and TV with a dining table and chairs, a separate fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, full cooker, fridge and everything required from iron board to toaster! The annex comes with it's own designated car parking space within our grounds. It also has a private large patio area and small pleasant garden.
A separate bathroom off the bedroom has an over power shower and full bath. The bedroom has fully fitted units along with fitted wardrobes, offering plenty of storage space. it is fully carpeted and furnished and very comfortable, it's also very safe and secure. In Winter the property is extremely cosy and warm with central heating in each room. Bedding and linen supplied and for longer stays of a week, both linen and towels are changed and laundered complimentary. Complimentary wi fi access for internet.
With the owners living in adjoining property we are very friendly, approachable and happy to help with anything to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
Ideal for the business user, much more personal and cost effective than using very expensive local hotels who charge around £100 per night for just one room. Also ideal should you be in between house purchase etc with the need for suitable accommodation without a long term committment, at a very reasonable inclusive fee.

We have lovely golf courses, lakes for windsurfing etc, country walks and country pubs a plenty!
Wokingham / Barkham area
Historical market town of Wokingham, has leisure facilities including a swimming pool, bowling alley, multiplex cinema, nearby Reading has the 'Oracle' shopping centre with attractive riverside cafes. We have fishing lakes, and a lovely Spa, Nirvana famous for celebrity visits! We have a good choice of supermarkets including Tesco, Sainsbury's, Waitrose all within a mile. There is a lovely well stocked, tourist office/information centre in Wokingham.
We have a lovely local, The Bull, once the village farrier, where you will be served with great ales and food, just 10 minutes walk away
How to get there
We are situated approx. 15 miles from London Heathrow Airport. Wokingham is an affluent historical market town situated in the leafy Thames Valley. We are in the village of Barkham, just 1 mile from Wokingham town centre. There is a mainline station at Wokingham with trains running direct to London (around an hour) Reading is approx. 4 miles, there is a coach service between Heathrow Airport and Reading and a train can take you 1 stop up the line to Wokingham. By car we are conveniently situated close to both the M3 and M4 motorway. There is a bus stop directly outside our private lane, this can take you into Wokingham (5 mins) or further afield.

Please note due to the uniqueness and desirability of this property, there is no low or high season, the rental rate is set at £350 per week for up to 2 people, fully inclusive of everything including bed linen/towels and the laundering of these for your convenience. There are no other charges whatsoever.
Completely flexible length of stays and changeover times, really suitable for most peoples specific circumstances, whether you're waiting to move into your home and do not want any long term committment, or perhaps you've just sold or are looking for a great location for a vacation, or you may have a working contract in the area, we will do our utmost to help your stay be as enjoyable as possible, minimum 2 nights @ £65 a night, 3-5 nights @ £60, 6-7 nights = £350

NB: Prices may be subject to change at the owner's discretion. There are no additional costs, although the apartment is to be left clean, as found on arrival, or you can opt for a 'get up and go' end of stay clean at a charge of £35, although this is entirely optional. A small fully refundable security payment is to be made on arrival, this is returned on the day of departure subject to being left clean and no damages . It is possible to take bookings subject to availability for just 2 nights minimum at £65 per night
For your convenience and comfort you will find a complimentary arrival pack of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and other useful items, cleaning cloth & liquid, toilet rolls/kitchen rolls, tea towels along with complimentary fresh linen and towels supplied and replaced (for stays longer than a week).
