About the home

An enormous farmhouse with accommodation for up to 16 people, it is a house which is absolutely perfect for large get-togethers. Internally the house has large and welcoming living space downstairs, including three living rooms and two kitchens. Upstairs are eight large bedrooms and four bathrooms.

Outside, the house enjoys uninterrupted views over the Oxfordshire Cotswolds from the immaculate gardens, including a tennis court and large gated pond. The gardens are large and ideal for games and playing. This unique and spacious house is an exceptional choice and one which we feel ideal for large parties who enjoy the very best in self catering accommodation.

To the front of the house is a large gravelled drive with ample parking. To the rear is a very large garden mainly grassed, with tables and chairs. There is a tennis court, plus a second garden, gated, with a large pond. (Parents of young children should be aware of this.) Surrounding the garden are fields and to one side a working farm, not related to this property.

The property is located a short distance from the market town of Witney and approximately 6 miles from Burford, gateway to the Cotswolds! Witney has a number of shops, restaurants to chose from and is convenient for Oxford, the Cotswolds as well as many local attractions. Burford is an ideal centre for visiting The Cotswolds area as it is within easy driving distance of popular attractions such as Blenheim Palace, Sudley Castle, Warwick Castle and several National Trust Houses and Gardens. Bourton on the Water, Bibury, Cirencester and Stow on the Wold are all within a 25 minute drive of the property.

Beautiful property and surroundings. Appreciated the supply of goodies on
arrival.Also all the books and videos. Weather too good to enjoy many of them! Comfortable beds. Liked the decor everywhere. Kitchens were very well appointed.

A 2 or 3 night break costs 75% of the weekly rate

A 4 night break costs 85% of the weekly rate

5 nights and over are charged at the full weekly rate.

Costs include heating electricity and bed linen. Payment can be taken by cheque, debit card (preference) or credit card (subject to 2% charge).
