Bridleways sits in the Idyllic village of Winterbourne Bassett, in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside. There are wonderful panoramic views over the Marlborough downs, and chalk White horse carved into the hillside. The village itself offers a very tranquil escape, and the local White Horse pub offers a friendly environment with excellent food and local ales. The village is also home to a 13th Century church, one of the oldest in the area, which is well worth a visit, and is 5 minutes drive from the World Heritage Site of Avebury.
Within the individual family home of Bridleways, there are two well appointed 1 bed apartment which contain a double bedroom with en suite shower, kitchen with oven, hob, microwave and a lounge dinner. There is also a sofa bed that can accommodate children under 12 for a supplement. Alongside this, you are also welcome to wander in our five acre grounds, which also offers a more secluded area to relax and have a BBQ. Breakfast can be served in your own accommodation for a supplement of £10 per couple.
Bridleways is a perfect base to explore the local history, and is five minutes away from Avebury Stone Circle, Silbury Hill and West Kennet Long Barrow - a must see for all history fanatics. It Is also a good central location for the charming market towns of Royal Wooton Bassett,Marlborough, Devizes and Malmesbury, and within easy reach of Swindon and the M4, allowing easy access to the cities of Bath and Bristol.

Bridleways offers spacious, luxury accommodation, with large king size bedroom with ensuite shower room, lounge area with sofa bed that can accommodate children up to 12 years of age at a cost of £20 per child. There is also a dining table and chairs, and a well appointed kitchen.

The Wiltshire region
Winterbourne Bassett is set in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside and encapsulates the quiet English country life. It is a perfect base to explore the local history of sites such as Avebury, Silbury Hill, Windhill Hill and West Kennet Longbarrow, and is 25 miles away from Stonehenge.
The area is also very well known for its crop circles during the summer months.
Further a field there are the charming market towns of Marlborough with its boutique shopping and antique shops, Devizes with its market on a Thursday, museum, canals with boat hire, and the history of the English Civil War and the Battle of Roundway.
Swindon offers designer outlet shopping, the Steam Museum, entertainment complexes and high street shopping.

"Fantastic place for families with children"
We had a great time here. The 5 acre of manicured lawn was enjoyed by the boys. The white horse of Avebury is visible from the garden. Fresh eggs from the free range chicken in the garden was a bonus… More
