Winkleigh / Broadwoodkelly area
Situated just eight miles from Okehampton – the gateway to the moors – Broadwoodkelly is a lovely country village set among gently sloping hills, green fields and high hedgerows. Reached by narrow country lanes and surrounded by a maze of country walks, this wonderful location also offers great fishing rivers, high-quality golf courses and a wide variety of local wildlife. Villages with quaint thatched cottages and traditional pubs can be found scattered throughout this rolling countryside, often in the view of spectacular stately homes. The wide, sandy beaches of the north Devonshire coast are only a short drive away, as are the rugged, wild tors of Dartmoor. The cathedral city of Exeter is also nearby, with a wide array of shops and restaurants, waiting to be enjoyed.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'Low', 'Mid', 'High', 'Peak', 'Xmas' and 'New Year' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

The cottage was lovely. The view over the duckpond was beautiful. Devon is a lovely area to stay in and this cottage is in easy reach of Cornwall too.
