Lodge at Jubilee Park Farm
Caravan/Mobile Home | 2 bedrooms | sleeps 5
Comfortable, refurbished lodge located in its own corner of the farm. One double bedroom, one twin bedroom with room for a cot or "put you up", bathroom, fully fitted kitchen with washing machine, living room with dining area and gas central heating throughout. The farm is located deep in the wild countryside of rural England – the perfect antidote to life in the city.
The holiday lodge is located at Jubilee Park Farm - a 50 acre grassland farm deep in the wild countryside of beautiful Devon. From the top field there are stunning views towards Winkleigh and on to Dartmoor. This is a nature lovers paradise with a huge variety of wildlife and birds including barn owls, buzzards and snipe. The air is crisp and the skies are huge. If you're looking for the razzmatazz of a holiday resort then this is probably not the spot for you - but if you'd like to get away from it all, reconnect to nature, have your own piece of Devon sky - and relax in the evening with a good book - this is your holiday!

The West Country region
Jubilee Park Farm is located in unspoilt rural Devon between Dartmoor and Exmoor and within easy reach of the North Devon Coast. When looking for a farm to buy we were excited to find that the traditional England of our childhood still existed in North Devon. Pancake race in the village on Shrove Tuesday, May Day Festival with may poles, Rose Queens, Village Fairs and church bells are all still to be enjoyed by the locals and visitors alike. We are delighted to see our three young children run out to play until the light begins to fade and tea is on the table.
Fishing available at Stafford Moor Fisheries (1 mile), the Fox & Hound, Eggesford (5 miles) and various locations on the Rivers Taw & Torridge.
Close to the Tarka Trail for cycling and walking.
The nearest villages of Winkleigh and Dolton have five unspoilt local pubs serving traditional English food. The Duke of York pub and restaurant at Iddesleigh is also a short drive away.
Both villages have excellent convenience stores, post offices and fresh fish (Friday and Wednesday respectively).
Supermarkets available at Great Torrington (Lidl), Okehampton (Waitrose, Lidl & Coop), Crediton (Tesco) and Barnstaple (Tesco, Sainsburys and Lidl).
Iddesleigh the village featured in "The War Horse" only 5 miles away.
Moortown Farm, the home of poet Laureate Ted Hughes, 0.5 miles away. Enjoy the countryside described in his "Moortown Diaries" collection of poems.
