4* Self Catering recently renovated late 1880's Victorian Cottage in a listed square in the centre of the conservation village of Wingham. Fully equipped kitchen/diner, elegant lounge, luxury large family bathroom, two charming bedrooms, pretty garden. The Dog Inn, The Anchor with live music, buses, bank, top restaurants, shops are within walking distance, as is the childrens playground, football pitches, cricket and tennis club with clubhouse.

Cornerways is the owner's holiday home, now available for hire. The interior has been decorated and furnished to the highest quality with an old/new theme, original features abound, sash windows, wrought iron fireplaces, wooden floors, plus designer touches. Fully equipped kitchen diner, original wooden floor, seats 6, with light oak fitments, granite worktops, range cooker, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, dining area. Elegant lounge seats 6 with an open log fire which has a antique guilt French mirror over, Liberty curtains, tv, freeview, dvd player, hi-fi, original artworks. Easy stairs lead to a luxury white tiled family bathroom with a Victorian washstand high level w.c., bath, electric shower, shaver point, heated towel rail. Oriental double bedroom with bedstead, desk, wardrobe and chest. Yellow double bedroom with 2 single beds, wardrobe and chest. Both have stunning views of the gardens.

Pretty garden with lawn, patio area with table and 6 chairs, bar-b-que, fruit trees. Parking space for one small car.

Wingham village possess some interesting buildings dating back to the 11th century and is dominated by a huge Norman church. There are 3 pubs, one Egon Ronay, restaurants, banks, shops, doctors, dentist, farm shops, tennis club, cricket ground. Surrounded by farmland, walking routes, North Downs Way, National Cycle Route 1, Kent Cycle Route. Nearby are historic villages, gardens, Staple vineyard, Howletts Zoo, Wingham Wildlife Park. Within 15 minutes drive you can visit 3 castles, Dover, Deal and Walmer. Besides this you can also play on 13 golf courses or visit the sea at Broadstairs, Margate with its new Turner Art Gallery, Ramsgate where you can participate in water sports, sailing and sea-fishing and Deal with the Fowlmead Cycle Park. Buses from the village will take you to Canterbury, Sandwich.

There is a smoking area in the garden and secure parking space for bikes. GOLF - IN THE VACINITY THERE ARE 13 GOLF COURSES ALL WELCOME GUESTS. GOLF RANGES, 9 HOLE BEGINNERS TO PRINCES AT SANDWICH AND THE ROYAL AT WALMER.

Wingham is close to the Kent coastal resorts of Broadstairs, Ramsgate and Margate. Deal with its 2 castles and Dover Castle.

Ramsgate and Dover ferries from the continent.

Ashford and Dover high speed trains.

Visit Canterbury with its cathedral and the World War II airplane museum at Manston Airport

Howletts Zoo and Wingham Wilflife Centre are very close by.

Fowlmead Cycle Park is 5 miles and Cycle Route I and Thanet Coastal Cycle Path goes through the village

Thanet beaches have been voted in the top 10 in the world. The region has a micro climate, making it a wonderful holiday venue. This is why it is one of the main regions in England for fruit and vegetable growing.

Besides the country farming and fruit growing atmosphere, there is an award winning vineyard 1 miles distance in the village of Staple.

You can explore Roman Ruins at Sandwich medieval town. The Turner Art Gallery and fasinating old town at Margate, Margate also has 7 theatres. Broadstairs with its Charles Dickens Museum, famous Viking Bay beach and music festivals. You can attend one of the many music festivals in the ancient local churches, The Hop Farm, Goodestone Country House, Quex House Burchington and Canterbury Cathedral. Shops abound in the old city of Canterbury, along with many pubs and coffee bars.

Then there are the 3 Castles, Dover, Deal and Walmer. Many National Trust houses and villages. A biblical trail from Pegwell Bay to Canterbury.

Plus 13 golf courses, Cycle Route 1 and Viking Costal Trail. Fowlmead Cycle Park is 5 miles with its Mountain Bike, Cycle Cross and Road racing courses. North Downs Way walking route is nearby.

For the children you can visit Howletts Zoo 2 miles away in the village of Littlebourne. Wingham Wildlife Park. There are also many other childrens activities within the area.

"Quaint cottage, nicely situated."
