Home description

This secluded beach front property is your home away from home. Our charming cottage has 3 double bedrooms, with a spacious King in the master bedroom. The front room also has a pull-out sofa bed for extra guests. The house is entirely surrounded by a wrap-around porch with access to each bedroom. Our house can be rented as a whole, or as individual rooms. All rooms have a private bath, air-conditioning and can be locked. One of the double rooms as a small kitchenette with basic appliances.

We have exceptional weather with averages in the 80's during the day and 70’s at night. We are just steps away from the beautiful white sandy beaches. Come and explore all the Bahamas have to offer!

The Crooked Island region

Crooked Island is an island of the Bahamas. It is located in the southeast Bahamas. It is considered one of the more remote islands.Crooked Island is beautiful and almost untouched. Though remote it has all the basic infrastructures.The population is quite small and so you can enjoy beaches all to yourself. The occupied property nearest to this property is approxiamately half mile away.
The tropical climate at Crooked Island is currently low 80's in the day and low 70s at night.

Winding Bay area

Lilltle activities apart from boating happen on this island. There are a number of historic sites and attractions that visitors would learn about while visiting. The second highest point in the Bahamas is in Crooked island- Mt. Pizgah also the site of the first Post Office in the Bahamas can be found here. There are a number of caves on the island as well as slave ruins/plantations.

How to get there

The Nation's Flag carrier Bahamas Air serves this island with twice weekly flights ie on Wednesdays and Saturdays from New Providence. New Providence (Nassau) is the capital of the Bahamas.
A private airline Pineapple Air also serves Crooked Island twice per week (Friadys and Mondays). Our guests can take an international flight that service their area into New Providence. One of the above flights must then be taken from New Providence into Crooked Island. Once in Crooked island our bus provides a complementary service that pick up and drop off our guests if they so desire. A car could also be provided for guests use.

This vacation home has three bedrooms: Main bedroom has 1 king sized bed and a day bed , Lighthouse room has 2double beds with kitchenette and Sea shell room has 1double bed. Each Bedroom has a private bath and can be locked of and rented as individual rooms. The general area has a living, dining, powder, kitchen and laudry room with all amenities. The house has awrapped around porch for the guests enjoyment of the fresh ocean breeze or to just enjoy a simple breakfast or a wonderful sunset etc.

One can have beach picnics or one can organize boating trips. Bonefishing, snorkeling etc can be done in the nearby vicinities. The beautiful aquamarine water is beautiful to look at, fish,swim or snorkel in.

Currently guests who book through this Website can have a 30% discount from cost of 2 or more room for 5 or more days. This special applies to booking during the current Winter season(Oct,2009 to March,2010). The deposit must be paid by the 15th Nov, 2009 in order to secure this special offer.

The entire premises rents @US$350 night or $2450/week. A room may also be rented for a low US$80/ day or $560 /week. Combination of room etc can be configured to the individual's/group's request. Guests are encouraged to stay for extended periods.Guests wishing to stay for more than 14nights to a month will pay the monthly rate, which is the equivalent to 14nights. The above figures will be adjusted by 30% if the commitment is made before 15th Nov,2009.

Guests staying for more than two weeks will pay a security deposit which will be refunded at the end of stay if there is no damage to the property.

The method of deposit payment is preferrably bank wire transfer.

The above guests with valid drivers license can also have available a compact car for an additional US$350/week upon arrival at the premises.
