"Large property but quite dirty and tired"

The property was very large which is ideal for large families and gatherings and the top floor is lovely with floor to ceiling windows in the lounge. It is also very convenient to have the entrance through in to the garage. The kitchen was well equipped.

The house has lots of potential. However we complained to the owners that the property was not clean enough as the carpets did not feel like they had been hoovered and we found sweet wrappers on the floors and dead bugs on the windowsill. The kitchen floor was also very sticky and didn't appear to have been mopped.

The toilet roll holder was held together with electrical tape and there were boys underpants in one of the drawers which must not have been cleared away when a guest left them behind which was disappointing.

These guests were an absolute nightmare!
They wanted compensation for the distress of finding a sweet wrapper and a small child's pair of pants left behind in a drawer.Their complaints were ridiculous. If any of them were true we wouldn't have such a large number of repeat bookings.

"Superb Property"

We stayed here in late Jan 13 and I have to say I was very impressed with the Property. It has everything you would want and more. There is plenty of room for Car parking and a lovely wide garage, which will easily hold a family car.
It is only a short walk from the town and all the shops and bars.
Ideally located for exploring the Lake District.

"Amazing!"

What a fantastic house for a large party or family. Everything you needed, the kitchen was fantastic and we spent most of our time there. All the bedrooms were comfortable and well furnished. The bathrooms were spotless and a good standard.

Easy to find and only a 2 min walk to the town centre - great location!

Contact with the owners was pleasant and efficient, deposit was returned promptly.

I would reccommend this house to anyone and we will probably bok again for next year!!!

"Excellent Holiday home with a great location."

We stayed in June and teh house is in a perfection location for Lake Windermere. It is just a few minutes walk into the town and the Lake. The house had everything we needed for our 2 night stay . The kitchen especially was very well equiped.We were travelling with a baby and toddler and found there was everything we needed. I would stay here again and would recommend it. If I was to be very picky about anything it could maybe do with being freshly painted in some of the rooms but there was really nothing I could fault.
