Situated in elevated position within walking distance of Lake Windermere, shops, restaurants, local pubs, cinema and all amenities. Its location offers all amenities and activites within a stones throw.
The World famous Beatrix Potter museum is just a couple of minutes walk from the house. As is the picturesque Bowness Bay with ferry rides and day boat hire.
Windermere Golf course is just 5 minutes drive away, as is Troutbeck swimming pool and Gym.
Kendal Leisure centre is 20 minutes by car for a pool, badmington, squash and fitness.
The Ferry crossing to take cars and pedestrians over the Lake to Hawkshead, Sawrey, Grizedale forest and beyond, is just 5 minutes drive away.
A drive of 2miles takes you to the well known Lake Distict visitor centre at Brockhole .
Fell Foot park ,which is a 10 minute drive away, is a lovely location to enjoy the views of the surrounding fells . It is onto the lake shore with Lake cruisers to take you across to Lakeside where you can enjoy the Aquarium and visit the steam Railway.
The location of this immaculate house ,is most suitable for people wanting to enjoy the Lake District ,and all it has to offer, from walking and exploring to relaxing.

“Excellent Holiday home with a great location.” We stayed in June and teh house is in a perfection location for Lake Windermere. It is just a few minutes walk into the town and the Lake. The house had everything we needed for our 2 night stay . The kitchen especially was very well equiped.We were travelling with a baby and toddler and found there was everything we needed. I would stay here again and would recommend it. If I was to be very picky about anything it could maybe do with being freshly painted in some of the rooms but there was really nothing I could fault.

I just wanted to drop you a quick line to let you know that my family and I had a wonderful weekend at Blencathra.
After a long drive to the Lakes, what a nice surprise to find a bottle of White on the kitchen table!
Its a fantastic property, the decor is beautiful and with elderly relatives and young children, the location from Bowness is perfect.
We would certainly come back.
