The Cumbria/Lake District

Cumbria is a beautiful county famed for its National Parks, the Lake District being the biggest of its kind in Enlgand. It is the perfect destination for walkers and cyclists, along with being a family retreat.


Windermere / Bowness area

Situated in the surrounding areas are many lakes for watersports. For a less strenuous activity, why not take a leisurly cruise on Windermere, or sit near the pier in Bowness.
Attractions include the Haverthwaite Railway, The Beatrix Potter Museum, and numerous picturesque villages.
