Leven forms part of The Bowering, a luxurious complex of four star gold apartments cleverly converted to provide quality accommodation for up to six people in this sought after location. There are four apartments in total, all of which can be booked together if so required to provide contemporary and chic accommodation for up to 24 people, a great way to holiday in style and comfort in the very heart of Windermere. Stay within easy reach of some of the best shops, pubs and restaurants in the Lake District or go walking, climbing and cycling and experience Lake Windermere and its surrounding areas all from this excellent base. The apartment itself combines original architecture with quality interior design to provide enviable facilities and luxurious features for you and your guests. Leven itself provides three bedrooms; 2 king size (one of which is en-suite) and a double, with an additional spacious wetroom with shower. The lounge area boasts ample seating with a 43” TV with blu-ray player, Hifi and iPod dock and the quality kitchen leads on to a dining area with French doors opening onto the terrace, an excellent place to relax with a BBQ on a warm summer's day. All the apartments have free access to Wifi and Leven also has room for a well behaved dog. All in all, Leven is an excellent example of quality self-catering accommodation.

The Cumbria/Lake District region
The Lake District conjures up images of magnificent mountains and shimmering lakes and that is exactly what visitors find here. In fact the whole county of Cumbria is home to some of Britain's most beautiful scenery.
This region has been a favourite all year round holiday destination for years and apart from its natural beauty it's also packed with lots of attractions and activities that cater for every kind of holidaymaker, from family holidays to romantic breaks for couples and from those who are looking for lots of activities and sports to those that prefer more gentle country pursuits.
The Lake District National Park lies at the heart of Cumbria and contains well known and much loved holiday destinations such as Windermere, Bowness, Ambleside, Coniston and Grasmere, here there are lots of charming Lakeland villages to discover and visitor attractions for all the family.
The northern and western lakes have miles of untouched natural rugged beauty and rural villages as well as being home to the historic northern lakes town of Keswick with its many shops, pubs and restaurants; providing a great holiday base.

Windermere itself has plenty to offer the visitor from shops to pubs and restaurants and is also within walking distance from the equally as popular and unique town of Bowness- on – Windermere, which also has much to offer by way of places to eat and drink! Acting as an excellent base from which to explore the very best of Cumbrian Lakeland, from Lake Windermere itself to Troutbeck Bridge and even Staveley, a holiday in Windermere is sure to provide ample opportunity for exploration and relaxation.
