The Retreat offers accommodation all on one level, has modern night storage heating and comprises:Dining hall: with comfy seating, dining suite, iPod dock with CD AND dab radio, Through to Lounge: With sofa and tub chairs with digital flat screen TV and DVD. Neat kitchen: with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave. Bedroom 1: Double bedroom with solid wooden bed and matching furnishings. Bathroom: with shower over bath, handbasin, wc and heated towel rail.

Other areas to discover include the Eden Valley, Cartmel peninsula, south east Cumbria and the Carlisle and Hadrian's Wall area; all equally beautiful and very handy for day trips into the lakes.

Windermere village has all the necessary amenities. There is an abundance of shops and pubs etc., as well as train and bus access. The Lake District is a nature lover's paradise. Nearby Ambleside is the location for the beautiful Stagshaw gardens, as well as a two thousand year old Roman fort.
