Myself, my partner and my dog all enjoyed a short weekend at Puddle Duck Lodge, the only complaint is that we couldnt get longer off work to enjoy more time there! We will be coming again next year without a doubt! There is enough room for multiple guests if needed, but we mostly pulled out the sofa bed and relaxed listening to the River, its surprising how quick time flies when your relaxing and unwinding! There is loads to do in the area if you have time, we went on many walks as there is lot to see. We didnt use any site facilities so cannot comment but overall it was clean and welcoming. When we were packing up the car to leave Jet (the dog) sulked and tried to hide he wanted to stay that badly! We would recommend this lodge to anybody. Georgia, Guy and Jet x Response: Thanks for a lovely review. We know just how Jet felt when he had to go home. A lot of people feel the same way! We'll look forward to welcoming you back to Puddleduck Lodge next year when you can all try a few more walks. Hopefully there will be enough time to discover a bit more of the Lake District and some of the local facilities too. |
