Outside the cottage is a small garden with furniture, a covered deck area, bike storage and off road parking for one car. Exuding "olde worlde" charm and being centrally located in the village, Meadowbank Lodge is a fabulous holiday cottage in a beautiful location.

The Windermere / Staveley area
The Lakeland village of Staveley is situated on the eastern edge of the Lake District National Park and offers access to the whole region. The village has a range of amenities including a variety of shops, three pubs, a craft shop and a Railway Station. Cycle hire is available in the village's bike shop whilst the whole area offers walking and cycling opportunities. Close by, the bustling towns of Kendal, Windermere, Bowness and Ambleside are popular with visitors, providing a range of amenities to suit all tastes. Lake Windermere offers boat trips, including a ferry to the Lakeside Aquarium and Grizedale Forest Park.
