Once a cobblers and a pub, the cottage is in the pretty hamlet of Wycliffe. It is comfortably furnished with country antiques and provides a real home-from-home. With fields at the front and the river at the back, it is a haven of peace and tranquility with an abundance of wildlife. There is also private fishing and a tennis court.

Ideally situated for exploring the market town of Barnard Castle with its antique shops and Bowes Museum, Teesdale and the North Pennines AONB, Durham and the Yorkshire dales, while the Lake District is 1 hour away.The nearest pub is a 10 minute walk and the Teesdale Way passes close by.
